I am 22 years old nad have had stretch marks since I was 10 years old. They developed on my shoulders, as very short thick lines then as I got older each year after that they just traveled down my arms. When my mother first saw them she panicked and took me to a doctor. She had no idea that young children could get stretch marks and thought this only happened to women when they had children as this had happened to her. The doc said they were keloids and to use a needle to get htem out
The streatch marks were so thick and there were so long that it would take forever to do that. and I didn't even know what i was doing. not to mention they were not keloids so the doctor was crazy
stretch marks have ruined my self confidence and I dread the summer. friends start to wonder why a girl who has a nice shape is always so covered year round once they get close to me. i try my best to hide out during the summer months and not let my friends see me too often. just recently a friend started judging me and saying "you are always so covered up you never show anything" well one reason is that i do live in a state where its cold year round so most peope are usually covered up but i get what she's saying. she's a bit heavy and doesn't show much off besides her arms. oh well that c omment just really got to me and hurt me
anyway I am desperate and was wondeirn if there are any laser treatments that are effective?? i heard about retin a, derma rolling, etc but i want something that is going to completely eliminate them |

I'm hoping someone will chime in here and give you some advice. I just wanted to say I feel for you. I live in the midwest and dread the summer months when people wear next nothing because I am very insecure. It makes me very depressed on a lot of levels. |
