If the ship was sinking and you were only allowed to take one gadget with - what would it be? |

I think the Vaculifter might be what I would choose. It doesn't need batteries or electricity and if the island is in the Caribbean, I don't need any oil because my face will supply plenty of its own. |

My High Frequency Wand.
But don't mention sinking ships! For the past six months I've been living on a boat and, yes, I brought along every gadget from home. But if it did go down, it would be the HF that I'd rescue (and Lulu of course). |

I knew there would be a few "oh, and xyz!" We beauty-mad can never limit to one product/gadget!
And yes, on this fabulous island where you're shipwrecked, there is power and anything else you may need for your *single" gadget.
Keliu - is that the dermawand?
I think I'd take my hair irons! (Assuming my Yuko hairdresser wouldn't be on board with his full hair-straightening kit!!)

It's the same technology as the DermaWand but it's a more sophisticated "professional" device. They are also known as a Violet Ray or D'arsonval wand. |

Keliu - I'm so interested. Why is it your favorite? What does it do? I don't remember reading about this one.
I don't have a lot of gadgets: a pro red light and a dermaroller is it for me)...Oh and an arsenol of power toothbrushes. I'd take one of them for sure. |

Have a look at this thread which Havana kindly split from the DermaWand thread:

I also suggest you Google the Violet Ray and Ozone Therapy for some interesting information on what High Frequency treatments can do. |

After reading your post yesterday, Keliu, I finally opened my HF wand and used it for the first time (I've had it for two months). I don't get too many zits anymore but I had a rather large one yesterday so I zapped it and Voila!, it's gone this morning. I'm almost hoping I get more - so I will happily be eating some chocolate today. |

I use mine everyday! This might be overkill but I'm a bit obsessed. It does seem to refine the look of the skin though. I run the mushroom head all over my face, neck and chest for around five minutes. Then I put on the comb attachment and do my scalp and down the side of my neck where I have a collapsed disk. |
