For last couple of nights I have been using Lierac Night Peel product, which claims to contain 8% Salicylic acid + glycolic acid. Yesterday I have noticed that my skin is beginning to peel a bit, but today the situation is even worse . Moreover, it seems that the only regions that is peeling are the ones on both sides of my nose. I suspect that the combination of the peel concentration and the grip that I use when I'm doing facial exercises might be the culprit for this condition.
Does anybody know if this concentration of acids would cause visible peeling on the skin? Is this side effect normal and expected? Or should I use it less frequently?
TIA! |

I'm not familiar with this product but 8% SA alone is pretty strong to be using nightly. Adding AHA on top of that would definitely cause irritation. |
