I visited a spa about a year ago and got a glycolic acid peel. The peel gave me red colored scars near my mouth. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get rid of these scars? Thank you! |

I just bought some copper peptides hoping that it would help, but I've just read that cp's can cause more damage. Does anyone have any advice on this? |

When I'm super stressed, I get cold sores in the corners of my mouth. It leaves some scarring after, but it fades in time. I just put concealer over it. I don't use any products to fade them. Sorry if this isn't much help. |

I have read that if use a Scar ointment that is silicone based is considered to be very effective in removing scars.
Hope this helps |

Because your scars are over a year old you may have trouble treating them at this point. Are the scars raised at all or just red still? |

The scars are just red still. I've also ordered some emu oil. I'm visiting a dermatologist soon and I'm hoping she has some suggestions. |
