I've decided to try the Paula's Choice retinol 1%.
I've been using it for a week that means 2 times since it's recommended to use every 3 night.
I'm wondering how did you find the product in a long run ?
I had tried many times to use Vit A (retin-A & Tazorac) but my skin never got over the dryness no matter what I did or how long I used it.
Hope the PC retinol 1% will work ans give me good results. |

I like a lot of PC products. I have not tried this one.
Can you post your long term results?
I found the customer service at PC to be excellent. If you have questions or concerns, I would email them. |

Yes I'll post the long term results in a few months. I'll also post in 2 months and let you know about the flakings or any other short terms effect. |

Any progress with the serum? I've just started to use this. |

Actually, I had bought the Obagie Hydroquinone 4%. I could not use both of them because it was too harsh on my skin. I'm just about done with the Hydroquinone so I will start with the retinol next week. |

So far so good. I have been using it since the end of March. I use it every other day. At first I had a little bit of peeling skin around the base on the nose. Not much at all it got better after 4 weeks. Starting tonight I will use it two nights and give it one night rest.
I actually mixe it with a little bit of the Estée Lauder Perfectionist CP+R and just before I go to bed I put the Ceramid serum from Elisabeth Arden.
I can't use it as a stand alone product yet.
Once I'm out of these two production I'm going to get the PC facial oil to mixe it with.
How does my skin look ? It is hard to say.. It sure isn't worse.
I find that it is so hard to tell the progress with long term result products. |

I just ordered sample size of the Clinical 1% PC product to try. I also ordered other samples of a milder retinol from her. Repurchased a full size of PC 2% BHA.
I was using Avene Triacneal but the product has been completely reformulated. Hopefully this is a good replacement. |

Autumn,
I also ordered samples of the BHA 2% lotion to exfoliate in the morning.
I reordered the C Vit as well. I was out of it and I really like it. I keep coming back to her products. They are somehow boring (I like nice fancy packings) but they are very affordable and good. Of course my favorite C vit serum is Vivier however much much more expensive. |

I think boring can be good!
No fragrance or animal testing and it seems as if products are rarely discontinued or reformulated.
Samples on almost everything. I wish more companies offered samples especially sunscreen.
There is a few products that I will reorder. I really like her AHA/BHA products. |
