are you sure you want to use rosehip oil when you are acne prone?
If you really want to then I would strongly advised you to do a spot test before applying to the whole face. |

My face will break out at the drop of a hat. I used rosehip oil around my eyes for a while with no problem. But I agree to a spot test.
I never had problems with rosehip but I know some do indeed break out from it. |

I break out from rose hip except around the eyes. So use with caution. |

o.k. i spot tested and so far so good, however, should i apply a couple of drops to clean face before my other products (cosmelan 2 cream)or do i apply after? I've never been sure on when and where the oil goes in skin routine(i use jojaba oil too)if it is before how long do you wait before applying next product? Thanks so much! |

I can help here.
Any oil based product will be last in your routine. Oils are conditioning and meant to seal and protect the actives you have applied first.
So, water based products and then oil based products. There are some exceptions to the rule but that comes with trial and error. Also, make sure to blend about 10% strength with the Rosehip Oil into your jojoba oil as you work to make sure it won't cause a problem long term for your skin type.
Hope this helps..

i'm confused is this the right order??
#1 cleanser
#2 cosmelan 2 cream( melasma cream)
#3 face oil (either jojoba or rose hip)
#4 moisturizer cream
or should i flip-flop #3 & #4??
also, please elaborate or clarify what you mean by 10% diluting? what problems could happen if i don't?
I'm a real skin newbie, so sorry for the ignorance. |

I was using the Kosmea line for a while which included Rose Hip Oil and I never had any breakouts. Their suggested routine was cleanser, scrub, rosewater mist, rose hip oil (used on skin wet from rosewater mist as this helps the oil penetrate faster) then moisturising sunscreen for the am and cleanser, rosewater mist and rose hip oil for the pm. At the time, I also added their eighth natural wonder at night after the rose hip oil. Never had any problems with my skin and I quite liked the routine. |

Hi there!
I am curious how your skin accepts so many conditioning oils/creams? Just being nosey...
When I say 10% I just mean that introducing Rosehip Seed Oil should be done in small increments to make sure your skin will accept it without having a hissy fit. It is one of the loveliest oils out there but should be introduced slowly. Of course, this is my personal opinion.
