Hi everyone! I hope you can help me. I have found out that I have an allergy to a natural fragrance compound which is used in cosmetics. I have been recommended to only use products that are fragrance free. This opens up a new world to me as i am used to choosing products based on recommendations, clinically proven ingredients, luxurious textures ... and gorgeous smells ...
Do you have any fragrance free product favourites either in skin, body or hair care? If so, I would love to hear about them. I am used to high end products so at the moment I am trying out Clinique. What do you think; could I do better than that? |

The first place that pops to mind is Essential Wholesale they sell bulk unscented products that you can scent yourself. Their regular sizes are aimed at businesses but they sell sample sizes that are 2-4 oz. which is plenty for personal use. I am fine with natural fragrance yet many artificial fragrances drive me batty, eyes tearing, nose running, headache ....you get the picture!

As I recall they carry all of the above, body care, facial care, and hair care. Their prices are quite reasonable as well. |

Thank you, DarkMoon, I will take a look at the website. It is good to hear they have a broad selection as I am struggling to find shampoo and conditioner without fragrance. |

Hi there,
Paula's Choice is a fragrance-free brand and has both shampoo and conditioner. I've used and liked the fragrance-free La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet, which is actually a body wash but works well as a shampoo too. And when I couldn't use Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing gel on my face, I re-purposed it as a wonderful leave-in conditioner. |

Some brands to check:
- Paula's Choice
- La Roche-Posay (some products - check the labels)
- Vichy (a few of the sunscreens)
- Sophyto Organics (some of THE most natural products I've seen and no essential oils or fragrance - available on EDS)
- Green People (they do a "No Scent" range)
- MIR Skin Care (mirskincare.com) |
