I'm tempted to add this to my next order because I've used this about five years ago and loved the smell and how light it was. The only thing I really didn't like about this product is the packaging. It was a glass bottle with a wide opening and just a screw top. Which meant that you basically had to pour some out onto your palm which was rather .... well... uncontrolled and wastefull. Have they changed that at all? The bottle in the picture looks the same.
I'm tossing up between this one and the Sothys Oxygenating fluid. Any suggestions would be, as always, greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

Hi Mabsy,
I haven't tried the Orlane product, you mentioned (I didn't even see it on this website, does EDS carry it?) Anyway, I do like the Sothys oxygenating fluid. I am in my 20's with combo skin and 2 different estheticians recommended it for me. It's targeted for stressed out or environmentally damaged, or polluted skin (I live in Detroit!) Anyway, it's super light like a fluid so I decided to try something a little heavier for winter, but I used it all summer and loved it. I am planning on using it again in the near future. You may like that it comes in a pump rather than a jar. Ask for a sample and see if it works for you. Now a question for you--Do you like Orlane products, I've read your review on the anti-fatigue eye cream which sounded great, any other orlane product reviews? |

Thanks for that thoughtcrime I placed an order with EDS a few days ago and didn't end up buying either of the moisturisers but I asked for a sample of the Sothys so hopefully they have that. It sounds VERY nice from your description.
EDS does carry the Extrait Vital emulsion. It's 6th from the bottom under "Moisturizers and Eye & Lip Care" in Orlane. I've only tried this and the eye cream from Orlane and have been impressed with both. I got the Extrait Vital as a present back when I was an undergraduate student (read: very short on cash) and absolutely loved it. But at the time I couldn't afford to buy another bottle (and back then there probably wasn't places like EDS online to buy it from). But I remember this being a very light lotion with a divine smell. I must go into a department store and test it out to see if it's still the same (of course if I was more organised I could have asked Magda for a sample but I didn't think of it when I placed my order *sigh*).
I did order the Orlane B21 Soin Super-Hydratant cream (I got the pack that's on special that comes with the toner and cleanser) so I'll let you know how those go if you're intersted in Orlane.
Thanks again for letting me know about the Oxygenating Fluid, hopefully I'll try that soon.
Mabsy.
