Hi, as I was filling up my cart at http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/, noticed a staple is out of stock. Jojoba oil.
Turned to my next supplier (http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/jojoba-golden-organic-carrier-oil-p-1227.html ) and it turns out they're out of jojoba oil too!
Then googled "jojoba shortage" and obtained quite a few hits. For those who are carrying jojoba oil, the price has gone up sharply because of a global jojoba oil shortage. Has anyone else heard of this?
For the time being, Trader Joe's still has jojoba oil at reasonable prices. I suppose that will suffice to tide me over. |

| Haven't heard about any shortage, but I'm sure it would cause quite a panic if there was one seeing as how so many EDSers rely on it |

If TJ's runs out, I will certainly be in a panic. 
Pasted hits from a google search at bottom.. Yet when I use the same keyword search in news, there are no hits. It appears as if the claims of a shortage are coming from suppliers. I'm not sure how credible this is, although it certainly struck me as unusual that 2 of my mainstay vendors for carrier oils are out of stock. All which prompted me to search this out in the first place.

| I tried to order Jojoba oil from Garden of Wisdom this week and they were out of the 4 oz size. They did have the 2 oz size though. |
