For the past three weeks I've been using the Clarsonic and for almost two weeks been using Neutrogena Deep Wrinkle Serum. Last week I noticed the pores on the outer part of my cheek, like on cheekbone near the temple and going down my cheek in a strip, are quite large now. I do not have oily skin or acne, and did not have clogged pores, and even now that they are large, they are not oily or clogged. I am confused as to why this is happening, as they are not in the normal tzone, I have no acne, clogged pores or oil, and these products are not supposed to cause pore enlargement. Has anyone else experienced this, and do those OTC pore minimizers work? Thanks! |

I think those pore minimisers contain silicones which help to disguise the pores - so they're just a cosmetic fix, and optical illusion, not a permanent one.
Maybe, the Clarisonic has just cleaned out your pores so that they are more obvious.
IMO large pores are difficult to treat (I have them too, mainly around my nose). You could try doing a series of Lactic Acid Peels. |
