Does anyone know of a company which sells microfibre gloves for the bath? I've been looking everywhere but still haven't come across any. I absolutely love microfibre cloths for my face, and I'd really like to use them on my body, but I've always had a tough time using washcloths. I just can't seem to grip them properly and am always frustrated when they roll up or drop in the shower. Hard to get behind my legs & back too.
I either just soap using my hands or every 2 or 3 days I exfoliate using those cheap drugstore exfoliating gloves, which aren't bad, but I really believe that microfibre would be a lot more thorough. Though I have been known to give my neck & decollage some pretty severe burns... might be a good case against actually. |

Hi Lori,
The only one that I know of and friends have used is from a company called Renaissance Glove. They have a website which you can order from and they ship from Canada.
www.renaissanceglove.com/
I haven't used this personally, I'm just going from friends who use them and absolutely love them. I'm not sure if other sites sell these, however I'm sure if you did a search you may find other websites that stock these. Hope this helps. |

If you are a bit crafty you could sew two micro fibre cloths together to make one. |

You can find some on eBay, I bought a couple from there, very cheap as they are supposed to be used for cleaning the kitchen etc (!)
Haven't received them yet but im sure they will do the job perfectly.. |

That would be the best idea.
I have a microfibre mitt. It was a gift with purchase from Avene. I got two and I really like the mitt instead of just a washcloth. |

I have to type fast - I've had next to no internet at the house lately so I never know when this will cut out! I've only been able to browse the odd thread.
Thanks for the first link someone left, but I'm hesitant to pay $30 for something fancy like that (I believe it was bamboo?) in case it wasn't right.
I bought 2 mitts from the dollar store - they're meant for cleaning. They're a bit to bulky and don't do a thorough enough job. So I might actually sew two cloths together or something, lol.
I googled and found some pretty pink ones that looked like the right thing, but they were only sold through some kind of sales club... not online and not in stores.
Cheers!
*ps I'll look into Avene! |
