Hi,
I've been trying to find out if alpha arbutin and licorice can be mixed together. I know some actives just shouldn't be put together.
I've been putting the arbutin into a base cream, and I would like to add licorice to that (since I happen to have some purchased already). Will they be ok together?
(the goal is lightening of brown spots)
Thanks in advance for your help! |

I'm wondering if I should switch to using one of those products, instead of the hydroquinone 4% I've been using for the last couple of months. I haven't seen any difference in my dark spots, and I'm worried about longterm use of hydroquinone. I'm not sure whether I have reason to though. Anyone have any thoughts?
I also don't dot it onto the specific areas which may be more ideal. I thought it'd be a short term thing where just spreading it over a patch until I saw evidence of fading would be the way to go, before becoming more strategic. However, there's been no noticeable change as yet. |

Is there a place that you can find out which actives can't be mixed together? |
