Hi
I would like to add a aha product to my ever expanding skin care regime. I am now using retin a 0.25% everyother night and would like to make a AHA product to deal with getting rid of old skin. I dont want to buy any products as I have already spent a fortune.
I was looking on the web and found a AHA mask recipe juicing papaya and pineapple and leaving this on the skin for 10 mins. My question is could I do this once a week for good benefits? I would I need to do it more often, or leave it on longer? or any other home recipes instructions etec.
I love this forum, my skin is looking really good at the moment, and its thanks to all the eds members, you all rock

I have tried this and it works really well. I would stick to it once a week. And leaving it on for 10 minutes is enough. You may want to even try it for 5 minutes the first time you do it because it could mildly irritate your skin but that is just the AHA working. I would add in honey to the mask for it's calming and moisturizing effect. After you have rinsed it off, your skin will glow. |
