I'm seeing my dermatologist again soon, and I'd like to ask her for a different formulation of tretinoin. I like what tretinoin cream .05% is doing for my skin overall (tolerating it fine, skin tone evening out, lines becoming finer), but I think it's making me oilier and occasionally clogging my pores (prob. the isopropyl myristate), causing small superficial red pimples.
So... from the googling I've done, I think Atralin might be the right retinoid for me--no pore-cloggers and no alcohol like the usual Retin A gel (and I usually don't tolerate alcohol well in my products). The only problem is that I'm not in the US. Does anyone know if there's a European, or especially French, version of Atralin?
Or any other ideas for which retinoid to try next? Thanks! |
