Hi everyone,
Today I am starting day 3 of the Obagi Condition and Enhance system, recommended by my dermatologist. I'm so relieved to see everyone's feedback to Obagi because I'd be a bit worried if I hadn't.
I've been on Tazarotene 0.05% (considered almost bioidentical to retin-a 0.05%) for over a year and love it - I built up a tolerance to using it 7 days a week, no problems and it has done absolute wonders for my skin. I made the assumption that i'd have less side effects with the Obagi system since my skin is so used to the Tazarotene. Boy was I wrong!
Day 1 went smoothly.
Day 2 I started noticing a bit of redness.
Day 3 has given me what looks like an uneven sunburn on my face, much more so down the right side of my face than left. Although it doesn't "look" bumpy it "feels" bumpy when I run my hands over it (lots of teeny bumps). It's also a bit sore. I also look verrrry shiny...!
Part of me is a bit worried that I'm having these effects so quickly, but the eternal optimist in me is hoping that this means the process will happen quicker. I'd love the thoughts of people who are veterans using Obagi. In my 20s I went through hell and back with my skin with the absolute worst adult acne. Now that it's acne free and clear, I'm getting jittery when I look at my face and realize the worst is yet to come.
Is anyone using the Obagi Condition/Enhance system? If so, I'd love their feedback on it.
Thanks very much |

Dragonflyte,
Is the Obagi Condition/Enhance the same as the Obagi Nuderm system? I'm assuming that it is or that it has similar components. |

Kims,
Well, they appear only slightly different and the products used for the most part are the same, as is the regimen so I'm really not sure. I see very little difference when comparing the products/protocol. |

Yes, I have same question. Does this have the same ingredients as nuderm system one? What is the difference?? Please let me know. if this is better, I want to order this one. |

I'm pretty sure it's the same as Nuderm -- only it may be a bit pricier! |
