I know many of you ladies are huge fans of the benefits of DIY vitamin C serums. I was contemplating purchasing the materials to make some of my own when I started learning more about Caudalie's products--particularly their Premier Cru cream containing resveratrol.
Apparently a 2006 Harvard study found resveratrol to be the #1 most effective antiaging (antioxidant?) molecule used topically, and Caudalie has a patented delivery system that makes the benefits accessible. It also contains a patented delivery system for polyphenols which are supposed to be stronger than vitamin C and 1000xs stronger than vitamin E.
This information (given to me by a Caudalie brand rep) makes it sound like their Premier Cru would be a far more effective choice than a vitamin C serum even if it's DIY.
Thoughts? I don't want to shell out the big bucks but it's sounding like this product really packs a punch as far as antiaging goes. |
