I wasn't going to say anything but I've been sick this week and so freaking bored. Had the surgery on Monday, really very trippy I have to say!
They use your own fat so it's a double whammy procedure and then at the last minute we decided to also augment my face so it really was TRIPLY great....small waist, back fat GONE, boobs, and face. wow!
The surgeon at first was concerned that I didn't have enough fat (my roll wasn't big enough???) and I was joking with him and the nurse, not enough fat? Usually not a problem! So the morning of he decided to throw in lipo to my outer thighs too just in case.
I was under conscious sedation so remember a lot of it, and the people from Cytori were there, they are the biotech company who developed the technology to separate the stem cells.
They first use a small canula that sprays fluid into the body while it's sucking the fat cell, the fluid helps I guess to get the fat without damaging it. Then they separate 1/2 of the fat and spin out the stem cells, they also make some kind of plasma solution, both are mixed with the fat to help it "take" and injected into the breast. They can only put in what your tissue will hold without getting hard because the pressure will kill the cells.
The first night was gross, gushing drainage from all the fluid and blood, under the compression garment so I was kind of wet, cold, and really uncomfortable. I slept on some garbage bags.
He gave me predisone dose pack because of my CFS (really unreal how doctors actually take CFS seriously now). So that along with the antibiotic has been making me feel sick to my stomach and I also feel a lot sicker than after my facelift. Also moving feels like you're ripping open wounds from the puncture holes, which are finally not draining anymore.
I had implants for over 10 years and had to remove them because they were always hard and I was always having surgeries. So I know what they look and feel like, these are SO REAL, they look AMAZING. I think I will end up a full C, and my waist and abs are like I'm 16 again, so incredible. He said he expects at least 80% take rate.
My face realllllllly needed the volume, I wasn't really super happy after the face lift because of that. Now I'm so thrilled. He augmented my lips, cheeks, and filled the NL folds (YAY). So in a few weeks when I can stop wearing the garment, wear a white blouse tucked in with a belt (low cut hahhah of course) and my enhanced face it's going to be so fun!
It wasn't really painful just feels like a really hard workout or being kicked by steel toed boots, I only took pain meds the first day.
Anyhow I guess I'm in the trailblazing arena. I really think the surgeon is fantastic, of all the work I've had he has the best bedside manner and a really friendly caring personality, plus he liked my sense of humor and it was really a trip talking to him the entire surgery, that was quite an experience I have to say, especially listening to them counting the syringes as he injected them in.
I hope I feel better tomorrow!!!! ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

I do hope your feeling better soon secretly.
You must post some pictures of you and your white shirt when your up to it. Would love to see the results, as a friend is looking at getting her Breasts done after having children and isn't sure whether to get implants or something like this. Can you have this done as well as a breast lift?
Also did you have Lipo done on your waist or was that something else?
Sorry for all the questions when your not feeling at your best, it's just that a friend is doing extensive research before she has anything done later this year. Thanks and hope you feel better soon. |

Thank you,I do feel better today.Yes you can get a lift at the same time. The procedure to make my waist smaller was the Lipo technique they use to get the fat for the breasts.
I Googled Stem Cell breast San Diego, that's how I found my surgeon. I know someone who had them done in Europe but there are more stateside surgeons doing it now. |

I will try and post pics. I feel really drugged today, and last night succumbed to applying the scopoline patch because my stomach was being eaten alive!!!!
Honestly though I woke up and was sort of stumbling so I took the patch off and now I need to detox from all the drugs. I've been chopping up really green leafy vegs like collard greens and putting the pieces in a blender with water, it's so easy and fast and just chug that baby down for a good and fast detox drink!
I found this youtube on the surgeon

oh yeah haha re: the before pics he took, OMGOSH I was sort of laughing saying you really have to lose every inhibition to do these pics. You stark naked from every angle, can you imagine??? |

OMG!! I am excited for you. Sorry that you're feeling under the weather - hopefully that clears up real quick.
I, too, would love to see pics of this.
I've not heard of a stem cell BA - very interesting. Are they still swollen right now? Keeping 80% is really good. What were you before all the augments?
It's amazing how far along technology keeps on moving. |

Thanks the scopolomine really did me in. I feel so drugged. Here's a pic I took this morning, I look a little sick

I was a barely B cup, so to end up a full C will make me very happy.
I think it takes a few months for everything to settle and swelling to go away. |

Thanks so much for the compliments--I'm reallllllly happy with this and it has been a long year, I've had 2 syringes of artefill under my eyes that both took months because it was layer after layer.
The week before this I went in and the face guy fixed a neck wobble I still had. It was surreal laying completely awake while he operated on my neck, came home and was so happy with the results.
One of the great things about the fat injected into my face is that it helped fill out my acne scars and my skin looks soooo much better.
I'm concerned about Google indexing those pics so I might remove them tomorrow. I looked online and found you can add code to your site to prevent google from indexing, but I just uploaded those to image shack. So I'll create a page on one of my sites and put some pics there (a blind page not connected) along with the google code.
I feel so much better today but still really whipped. Seeing the PS tomorrow for the first time and can't wait to hear what he says.
here's the google link in case anyone else is concerned about Google indexing your pics!

I don't know the answer to that, can you contact photobucket and ask them? I'm sure they would know.
Isn't it rather creepy that Google does that to begin with? |

Well it's going on 2 months and aside from the swelling caused by the procedure my face and breasts haven't seem to lost much volume. He wanted to see me at 2 months because he said that's sort of the time you can tell if it's going to stick.
I'm soooooo happy and enjoying them so much!!! I had breast implants for 10 years and these are MUCH better, they look like the real deal. |

That is amazing! From a girl who's basically flat-chested (nursing four babies wore me down to a nub) I have essentially given up on the idea of cleavage, but you look awesome. You are an inspiration. |

Thank you I am so over the moon, they never looked this good being pregnant or with implants. I've been "coddling" my fat, not wanting to lose an ounce, at least until they are really established and all the fat cells have moved in permanently. |

I've wanted to do this for a long time, but have only seen it done in Japan. Amazing!
Do you mind me asking you how much it cost? You can PM me if you want.
I'm fairly petite...I kind of wonder if I'd have enough fat too, but Japanese women are really petite too, and that is where this procedure began. |

I'll PM you. It's doable really not even close to what they cost in Japan. |
