I know that this is a myth, but I also know of some people who actually have outgrown acne. Have any of you? At what age and how bad was your acne prior to that? |

I think it all depends on the actual cause. I didn't start breaking out till I was in my early 20's. 20 years later still fighting the battle. |

I suffered from horrible acne as a teenager from 12 yrs old. I'm 25 now and have noticed that my skin is breaking out way less, i still get break-outs but I think i'm prone to always have break-outs (my dad is 50 and is prone to break-outs). As i'm 25 now I need to worry about wrinkles as well as break-outs and I can't use harsh products on my face as I was able to use in the past when I was a teenager. I'm still on a mission to find that perfect product that fights acne as well as prevents wrinkles for dry skin. Since my face has toned down with acne....I get hormonal zits now...I'm more focused on preventing wrinkles and treating those hormonal zits with a dab of zit cream once a month (i can live with that) |

Have had some form of acne since my teens, and am 34 now...
My skin is not severely bad at all, just get 1 or 2 blemishes monthly.
If I did not use some good skincare my skin would be a mess...
my sister she does not really use any skincare and her skin is more bumpy texture, some blemishes and she is younger than me.
my acne is just in the chin area.
but since using more all natural cosmetics my skin seems much better.
my wallet is not happy though
my mother is 60+ and still has some acne.
but she puts body sunscreen on her face, like scented coppertone stuff, and uses VASELINE at night on her face.
but overall her skin does look nice!
my aunt though (mother's sister) she is 60 and gets facials every month, uses lancome and GM Collin skincare and other expensive brands and she has very nice skin!
my aunt, she only has a bit of "face sagging" in the jaw area, but her skin looks so nice and smooth! |

Are we talking about adult acne just around the chin area, or "teen" acne? |
