I recently purchased some pure Rose Seed Hip Oil (from Now Foods) to help treat/fade some old acne marks.
These marks are completely flat, slightly red and scattered on my cheeks and chin.
My question is, what is the best way to apply the oil? -- Should I spot-treat and just dab the oil directly and only on the marks?
-- Or is it ok to spread over the whole (cheek and chin) area?
I have never used Rose Seed Hip Oil before (and I have sensitive skin).
Am I just wondering what is the best way to go about it...
~ Thanks! ~ |

It's my personal opinion that rosehip seed oil is one of the best oils you can use on your face. It brightens up your whole complexion. As long as your skin can tolerate it I would put it in your whole face. |

Make sure you spot test it under your chin and on the inside of your arm first to make sure your skin can tolerate it. |

Rose Hip isn't a great choice for acne prone skin. It can easily clog pores. |

Extracted from a rose that grows high in Chile's Andes Mountains, a little of this rich oil goes a long way to nourish and revitalize dull, dry skin and scalp and rehydrate damaged hair. (Not recommended for active acne. Use patch test before applying around eye area.)
High in linoleic and linolenic acids and vitamin C, excellent skin nutrients.
Improves texture and restores skin's natural moisture balance.
Makes a superb hot oil infusion for dry scalp and damaged hair.
For best results, apply oil to dry areas of the skin, then follow with Rosa Mosqueta® Rose Hip Moisturizing Cream. |
