Hi,

I have enjoyed reading through the forum - now I have a question. Has anyone tried the Lightstim that is specifically for rosacea?

Thanks!

I've used the rosacea light for 3 months. I think it's helped a lot. I don't use it regularly anymore, but instead use AALS all over my face. I still keep the rosacea light in case of occassional breakout.

ricayhermosa,

Could you share a little more of what you feel the rosacea light has done for you. Has it calmed your redness? Healed acne breakouts? Broken caps any better? Also, were you using the light everyday? Thanks Very Happy

ricayhermosa,

I'm also interested in the questions songbird has raised. And did you start using them at the same time - or did you start with the rosacea light first and then move on to the AALS?

Also, is the AALS much hotter on your skin than the rosacea light?

Thanks!

When I started with Rosacea Light, I used it every night. After a month I found my rosacea not getting better and I still got p&p everyday. I decreased the frequency to 4/week, and I got better results. LS CS usually tells you to use it every night and I don't think it's a good idea. More frequent usage actually results in inflamation, which in turn aggravates rosacea. Also I think the change of my daily skin care routine has helped a lot. I am using GoW Acai AntiAging Serum and Rosacea Oil Blend. Never have I imagined that those products would work so great. I still get flareups occasionally, but much less frequently than before. Yes, the combination of the light and the new skin care routine has calmed my redness, reduced breakouts and the appearance of broken caps.

I switched to AALS a couple of weeks ago. I only have rosacea on my cheeks, so I do these areas first when the light is not hot yet.

I suggest you not use the topical LS recommended. I forgot its name but I've checked its ingredient list. It has both alcohol and fragrance, both of which are roceasean's enemy.

So, would you say it's really worth buying both the rosacea light and the AALS? I've been going back and forth on this, thinking that maybe I could get away with just buying the AALS, especially if I make a point of doing my cheeks first. I never have p&p from rosacea, just redness and now a few broken caps.

I can't say for sure AALS alone will work for you. Everyone's skin reacts differently to the same treatment. LS has 90 day money back guarantee. Perhaps you can buy both and test AALS only and see if it works? If it turns out you don't need the rosacea light, you can always return it. 90 days is long enough for you to find out.

I am sending this back today. It does absolutely nothing. Brought it to a derm a couple days ago and she said it's worthless and there is no proof that LED therapy does anything at all.

Could you expand on your review? How often did you use it? and for how long?
