I have to say, I watched QVC this weekend transfixed as they sold Philosophy products. I started really wondering if they work.

specifically Hope in Jar, Hope in a tube (eyes) and the miracle peel -- they had two...one was a retinol pad system they said makes your skin look just in a month..and the other was a two step system.
I was so tempted to buy but wanted to check it out here first. My search couldn't turn up anything.

Feedback anyone?

I tried the Eye hope and it burned really bad. It has retinol in it, I think that might be too much for the eye area.

ME TOO! I watched the same thing and sadly I recorded it so I could compare prices and look up reviews!!! Thankfully antoher QVC Philosophy watcher!!!

I have been intrigued myself since I watched this in Feb and (btw-they will be airing again on 21 March).

Ok, I was so tempted to buy, but I'm frugal (sounds better than cheap). Laughing I have been trying to decided myself on which to order, but its hard to find reviews on here (I don't know if folks don't use a lot of Philosophy or if the word is so common I can't get good hits on EDS).

I have Hope in a Jar. I bought it back in Sept (the big honkin one...8OZ). I like the easy pay option on QVC and it is so easy to send back or cancel. Many folks don't care for the smell, but it doesn't bother me and it does go away quickly. It is a nice light moisturizer that does give a nice pink to face. I think that is the beta glutens. It is my go to moisturizer now. They sell a sample kit on QVC for $30 that has Purity, Hope in a Jar, and a peel. I think it is for 15 days. I stretched mine out. I would recommend that if you want to try the line out.

I use the Purity with my clarisonic MIA (another QVC buy at $120-with easy pay). It took me years to finally buy a clarisonic. I did not care for Purity made simple when I used the sample kit, but now I love it! Esp with my MIA.

I did get samples of the Hope in a tube and I really like it. Hope in a tube is different that Eye Hope (which I have not tried). I got a sample from Sephora and I am loving it so far. I'm planning on seeing if they have any other kits or specials on Monday. If not, then I'm going to order the Hands of Hope. Its a good price and the hand lotion is basically free with the big tube of Hope in a Tube.

Also, look on EBAY. I was out bid on a tube of Hope in a tube, but they have others. I'm only waiting until Monday because I like easy pay and right now it is not being offered. I guess that's how they get you to buy on the show. Shock

Hope this helps!

Well, I did it.

I made a huge purchase from QVC <SIGH>
Embarassed

Didn't mean to, but once the clicking started it was hard to stop. bahahaha!

Ok, I bought the Hands of hope trio on easy pay (which includes the new Hands of Hope lotion, Hope in a jar, and Hope in a tube). I loved the sample of Hope in a tube and we'll see about the Hands of hope lotion. See if its worth the hype. Sadly, the price did go up 9 dollars from Feb, but I still like the easy pay and I really liked the Hope in a Tube. I wished I had bought in Feb for $78, now it is $87. You still get alot for the price. It just sucks that I could have gotten it cheaper.

I also bought the Shampoo and Conditioner for Pure Grace. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I didn't not care for Amazing Graces' smell, but the scent of Pure Grace even got my hubbys attention so I'll try the Shampoo/Cond. I don't usually wear spray perfume, but I do enjoy scented powders and lotions. I'm hoping I'll enjoy the scent in my hair.

I caved and I'm going to try Dr. Denese Day Creme SPf 30. I read a couple of good comments here and I like the idea of the melanin and having it take the place of a tinted moisturizer. This set came with some firming pads and hydro-shield. I figured I'll give it a try and if I hate it back it will go and I'll just buy the Tinted moisturizer from Philosophy as I had planned.

As far as skin care, I find this line irritating but I do like the Microdelivery wash. I have repurchased this 3x's. Its a nice gentle scrub, I use it 1-2x's a week.

I love the Grace line of fragrances.

I don't think it's that great and the reviews on MUA aren't too great either. Their best product is the microdelivery system, but apparently Olay sells the same type of product for much cheaper.

That's strange, because I really like it and both my sister and mother enjoyed Hope in a Jar when they came for a visit. That's 3 very different age ranges...20, 38, 60, of course we are all related so maybe our skin type just likes it. Very Happy

Neither liked the price, but I have 8oz of the stuff so had no problem sharing. hehehe

Maybe folks expect too much from it. I mean here is Oprah raving about it and the ladies on QVC could sell a drowning man water so it could be people except it to cure wrinkles and cancer. For the price I totally understand that, but I still feel it is a really good light moisturzer that works. I'm using it on my 9 year old to get her used to caring for her skin and she also likes it, but she is more impressed with rocks and bugs than skincare. Laughing If I could just get her to put on sunscreen when I'm not around.....

I love the Philosophy line. I use the following: Hope in a Jar, When Hope is not Enough, Turbo Booster C Powder and Purity Made Simple. I use the Hope in a Jar every night after my Retin-A Micro. I use the When Hope is Not Enough and Turbo Booster C every morning. I wash with the Purity both night and day. My skin has never looked better. I'm 48 and have notice a huge difference in the small lines around my eyes and mouth. I would recommend this to anyone.

Thank you CBayne! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one on here who likes Philosophy. How do you like the products you are using? The more I use this line the more I like it. I think I'm turning into a Philosophy girl!

It's been about 7 months using Hope in a Jar and my big one is almost gone. I find the more I use it the more I like it. I also found that the line seems to really work well together. The samples I used worked really well after using Hope in a Jar and Purity/Microwash. If I use another moisturzer then the sample of the tinted moisturzer was just ok, but when I used it after HIJ I was happier with the result. (It's been really dry here so I used the tinted stuff like my makeup)

I liked the combo so much that I am looking at this liine more. Just wondering what to pick to try next. Laughing I have been wondering about the Hope is not enough. Do you like it? Is that the serum?

thanks everyone... I appreciate all the info.

I find all the hope this hope that confusing. I think it is the retro micro??? whatever the pour over on the pads in the jar is? That is what everyone was raving about on QVC. I did try the hope in a jar. It just seems like a nice light moisturizer. I don't see how it could do anything amazing. On QVC, they said Oprah said after using it people thought she had a face lift. I find that hard to believe.
