I'm looking for a Neroli perfume.
So far I've smelled Occitane and that was a blend with other stuff, not actual neroli.
Yves Rocher, and that was ok but so much acohol you just smelled the alcohol and that was it.
I saw PSF has a Neroli perfume on their website and I'm tempted to try that.
has anyone bought it or smelled it?
The smell I'm looking for is what they use in the Kerstin Florian Neroli hydrosol face spray.
I had a Neroli hydrosol here before, but for a perfume the smell wears off very quick.
I'm going to search online, but some brand suggestions would help! |

How about just purchasing some neroli essential oil and making your own? All you need to do is mix some with an oil of your choice (jojoba is good for perfume oils) and you have a simple perfume oil. I have mixed neroli (20 drops) with frankincense (10 drops) and benzoin (10 drops) in the past and then mixed that with 20ml of jojoba and it made a wonderful perfume that lasted a good 8 hours or so. |

That's exactly what I do also Josh, I love neroli on it's own in Jojoba or another oil and use that as my perfume (well one) |

Thanks for the tips.
I haven't really seen much Neroli essential oil for sale.
Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong place...
If someone can reccomend a vendor online who ships to Canada?
I'm not looking to have a Neroli blend...just plain Neroli! |

I purchased mine from aromantic.co.uk a few times. They're in Scotland but ship worldwide. Make sure you're getting neroli from a reliable source as some vendors water it down. The more expensive it is (and the price can be as high as gold) the more likely it's pure. |

My bad missed the minimum! I saw a site selling Aura Cacia brand already diluted in Jojoba Oil. Will check again. Sorry. |

You might want to look for neroli absolute (not EO), which is a perfumer's material. I get mine from Eden Botanicals. Make sure you dilute it into a carrier! |

Thanks!
I should have thought of shopping at Well.ca
I already buy other items there....and they have free quick shipping.
I've tried some of the Aura Cacia products before-a long time ago, some of their perfume blends I think it was. their products are pretty good, but I never see them in the actual natural shops I go to around here...
But WTH...of the Well.ca search system-I put in Neroli and get Jovan musk, burts bees,Weleda pomegranate....they really need to improve that.
I think I will get the Aura Cacia one |

OS,
We have Aura Cacia in most all the natural/health food stores in the US. What I love about this brand is they check each and every batch for possible contaminates an toxins, which in essential oils become very concentrated along with the essence of the plant itself. Knowing that they are that responsible for our safety is very reassuring!
Be careful what brands you buy with EO's if it's usually expensive and you see it very cheap, a lot of cagey companies sell artificial fragrance oils as "essential oils". |

Le Labo do a nice longlasting Neroli perfume. The have a shop in New York but you can buy it onnline , I did as I live inthe Uk. Ships very quickly and comes with a whole ethos, the packaging is pared down lab style. it is quite expensive but you can buy different volumes of their stuff down to samples to try very inexpensively. You could buy the body lotion and a sample of the same perfume and it would last longer layering them. hope this is helpful |

if you can't find essential oil of neroli try blending together equal parts of bergamot and orange essential oils for a fairly close approximation. Also if you want to make your own alcohol based perfume rather than using a carrier oil, I have found vodka dissolves essential oils quite effectively. Just mix together and allow to stand for a minimum of two weeks. Best if you give it a shake daily to help mix the fragrances together. |
