Hello everyone

Im sure all of you saw this kind of post before...
I appreciate all help in advance.

Who would ever think that shopping for a face cream will be so complicated?? not me.. but i was so wrong!
I see brands listed and honestly 95% of them i never heard about before.. some of them sound familiar to me but i never used their products before.. and of course all reviews are positive... so its very hard to pick something.

I recently finished cycle of SkinTx line Hyperpigmentation program (i modified it a bit since kits that are available dont have every step product with 4% hydroquinone, so i bought additional products that do have it). After that, i went back to Creme de La Mer again but was very dissappointed in the serums that go for $250 and up. I dont beleive that they are worth that much for pretty bottle... Now that summer is coming i cant keep using original La Mer creme because it is heavy and i will break out when it will get hot. I tried light version, but it didnt do anything for me..
So, dilemma im facing now is that i have no idea what to get and if quality matches price for it...
I also understand that same cream might not work the same for 2 different people.
I have combination type of skin and i started noticing wrinkles under my eyes
Crying or Very sad
I tried to look and read on forums but gosh it got so complicated there are so many that i feel completely lost right now..
Im looking for serum, eye cream and face cream. I will use Murad AHA scrub or Vivier vit C scrub <--i never tried it before, but i am open for suggestions. I also liked Vivier description of Vivier serums but again i would like to hear from people who used them before. Do they color face yellow since they have vit C in it? SkinTx Vit C serum didnt give yellow discoloration at all.
I need anti-wrinkle/firming and moisture... i think...and they dont have to be from the same line. I really dont care if they are or not, all im interested in is the result. I also dont want to pay top dollar for pretty bottles without results..
Help!!!!!!

I think it is better to state clear on your skin condition first, for example

age range
F/M (that's actually make a difference in choosing the skincare)
what your skin tone like:
is your skin combination ? dry ? oily skin?

what is your skin care daily routine?

any other concerns??
- blackheads
- whitehead
- acne
- large pores
- uneven tone
- skin not firm enough
- dry line
- wrinkle (dry lines and wrinkle are different)

thanks

lol yes u r correct Smile
im 36
i do get whiteheads sometimes, blackheads as well
i have combination skin
i guess my concern is wrinkle prevention and keep healthy tone etc
my routine is .... lazy.... i need something that is not very complicated because i keep forgetting to do it lol
i barely survived cycle of SkinTx 5 steps am and 6 steps pm for 3-4 mths.. only thing that kept me going was dramatic fast change i noticed after 1st wk..
Daily routine is: gel/scrub wash, cleansing milk, toner, serum, face cream and eye cream but lately i was using La Mer cream even under my eyes
I do squeze white/black heads and then i regret because its hard to get rid of spots after lol
i have white skin so everything is noticable right away.
i dont have large pores but i did notice that my T zone area pores became more noticable lately but i cant say they enlarged a lot lol.
I usually try to have serum and cream combos that cover wrinkles and provide moisture.
For example, i used to use Sothys hydrooptimale serum and cream before they changed. After change few yrs back, i didnt feel that new products were as good as previous ones, so i stepped away from Sothys. I did like their cleansing milk and toner for combo skin type.
After i tried to combine La Mer serums and cream i was disappointed in serums. I still like cream but i cant use it during summer its 2 heavy and i break out.

lol im Female, i kept on rambling about stuff and didnt answer all questions Sad

but mostly concern is prevention.
i did notice that my skin aged past year or so and wrinkles under my eyes became deeper and longer, and i noticed crow feet.
After SkinTx i break out less and dont get as many white/black heads but have occasional ones on my cheeks. I dont suffer from acne thank god... knocking on the wood lol.

Vitamin C serum has given me blackheads and that's it. I'm very disappointed. I use Cosmetic Skin Solutions C+E Ferrulic.

For wrinkle prevention try botox. That and sunscreen should work really well. Heck, even after you get wrinkles you should use both! Laughing

you can try Vitamin A in (retinol molecular film form). this less chance in causing irritation. of course this may not be that effective than retin-A which is more easy to causing irritation and redness.

I am using Probio skin Vitamin A. You can buy from AU offical website:
http://www.probiohtma.com/Products?Product_ID=5&cmd=Display

"Beneficial for treatment of acne, scarring, irregular cell growth [skin "placqueing" or "bumping", skin tags etc] & skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis.

Vitamin A Retinol Molecular assists to reduce and reverse sun damage and age spots, regulate cell turnover for increased luminosity, restore the epidermal barrier to restore natural hydration, normalizes oil levels [recommended for acne sufferers], increases fibroblasts & dermal thickness to reduce fine lines. Not to be used during pregnancy or lactation".

if you can buy from facegroup (to eliminate the shipping cost if you are living US or Canada b/c it is offer by group purchase).
