Hi all,
I've lately been into using only mineral or all-natural cosmetics without silicones etc., and I was wondering if anyone has any recs for a good all-natural concealer?
I'm currently using Youngblood Ultimate concealer which is not bad, but I'm wondering if there is anything better out there.
I'm not into powder foundations like bare minerals etc. - I just can't seem to get the hang of applying them and I make a mess.
Thanks! |

Jenulence has mineral powder foundation / concealers which I use just as foundation because I prefer a cream concealer around my eyes. You just need a tiny bit so it's very cost effective. Why not order some samples to see which colors might work for you? My samples lasted a long time.

Chantecaille is a really good one, but it's also super expensive.
You can try cle de peau too but it's still pretty expensive for the amount |

Cool - thanks for the suggestions - I saw that cle de peau was recced as a best concealer on the other thread by a lot of people too, but I didn't realize that it had all natural ingredients as well!
I might try it despite the price - I waste so much money on cosmetics and skin care anyway. Only thing is the colour - I'm about an NC40 in MAC, so unsure if I'm too dark for this range. |

Wow that RMS concealer looks great - thanks for the rec; I noticed that the Spirit Beauty Lounge also has some other all natural concealers that look good too.
The only thing is the range of colours - I'm unsure if I am too dark for the 33 in the RMS and I'm hesitant to buy it online without trying it. Does anyone know if this is available in the Vancouver area?
Thanks! |

The best mineral makeup is really a matter of personal choice.... Probably not what you wanted to hear if you came to this page looking for a simple answer. But it's the truth. With all the mineral makeup companies out there I gurantee you will find more than one that will work very well for you. It would be hard not to notice all the ads for mineral makeup. All of them claiming to be the best mineral makeup. It's hot right now. Many of us are curious about it and wonder if it would work for us. Well, after writing about it for this site. I decided to give it a try and see if I could find the best mineral makeup for myself. |

True, makeup and skincare in general can be a very personal thing. However, it's good to have at least some sort of direction on where to start considering the 1000s of products out there in the market today |

I'm a fan of mineral makeup. While I do agree that loose mineral makeup is messy, but so far its been giving me the best coverage without being cakey. So for that, I am putting up with the inconveniences.
Current personal favorites are from Meow Cosmetics and Fusion of Colors. |

Multi-tasking bareMinerals work overtime as creamy miracle concealers to cover any and all skin imperfections.
Besides working as a beautiful, soft eyeshadow base, this Multi-Tasking Mineral also perform as a miracle concealer for your face, covering dark circles and skin imperfections.
Apply directly onto brown and red spots, blemishes and broken capillaries, scars and other areas of skin imperfections.

right now, i am using PRIORI - mineral concealer (poweder form); that's pretty good, not drying out, and just put a very light powder, pad on the undereye area. and that's enough. |

This may not be in the "all natural" realm you seek, but the Neutrogena 3-in-1 offers decent brightening concealer, with active ingredient Titanium dioxide offering spf 20. It is creamy and blends well. It comes in 4 shades. Also, the Clarins spf 30 eye contour also uses active titanium dioxide and offers a very subtle brightening effect (this has never worked as a concealer for me, but some claim it does). |

Omorovicza Correcting Pencil - this is what I use. It works well covering my dark circles. I also love the texture. |

Jan Iredale Circle Delete is HG for my dark undereye circles. I use Circle Delete #2- I love it because it doesn't highlight crepiness and fine lines. It also really cancels out red and blue. I have never been able to find a concealer for undereyes that worked (looked for 20 years) until I found this a couple of years ago. Love it |

Wow - I just checked out that Jane Iredale concealer and it looks great! Plus I can get it locally too -- I love that it has two shades in one as well b/c I do tend to get a bit darker in the summer. I'll have to check that out! I hope I can find it in my skintone though. |
