I have loved this forum for a long time, but always from afar. There was so much overwhelming information here that I have just been a sponge all this time.. So I thought I would finally say hello to all the fabulous people who helped inspire me to do many things, including go to schooling for my skin care license, which lead to my career where I am now passing along the wealth of information..
Thank you for being here and being eager to help pass the education along.. I hope I can return the kindness once in awhile |

Hi mintysmile, welcome aboard, finally I too lurked for a very long time before finally registering.
Congratulations on getting your skin care licence, wow what an achievement! Yes this forum is very inspirational, sometimes almost too inspirational (haven't stopped spending and the to try list just gets longer and longer )
Do you specialise in any particular brands/products/treatments? I'll be looking forward to reading your posts, it's always good to have a little professional input. |

Welcome! Although I have been a member for a long time, I do lurk as well. Most of the time I lurk more than I post!!!!
I am glad you have soaked up the valuable info here. These boards have been lifesavers and lifechangers for my skin! |

Wow! AnnieR - I see you've been a member since 2005. Have things changed much around here since then?
And a big welcome to you mintysmile! Hope you'll contribute to the forum when you get a chance. |

Seems like yesterday! Yes, things have changed a bit now with the troll posters from time to time. Didn't have that when I first started. You just posted to help someone, add an opinion or ask a question, not to rack up post numbers. That didn't start until a few years ago.
There was only one forum then too! When I joined, I read every single page and thread from first to last.
There were some really great people here that contributed to me spending a lot of money on products, haha!
Some of the long-timers are still here, some pop back in from time to time but it has changed. Petty picking and snarkiness, over-zealous product pushers have turned me off now and then (not directed at me personally but I see no need for it) and cost the boards some very valuable contributers of knowledge and I miss them.
But I usually lurk and come back! |
