After a few days of looking at Lycogel and doing some serious research I decided to take the risk and buy it. I went to the buy now page and located my nearest clinic in Kensington, which is the royal gardens hotel. This is 5 star hotel, so I knew they would not stock rubbish. I gave them a call and asked them what colour I should use for light skin, they suggested Beige or Honey. I still was not sure so they offered to colour match me so I can best decide which shade to try, from then on if I liked it I could buy it online from amazon. I went inside as I live just down the road. I was surprised at how many clinics stock this, if you get lost on the buy now page try expanding the area to say London instead of just Kensington and more results should come up. The staff were well trained and professional, they instantly noticed I had sensitive skin and perfectly matched me to Honey, the results were astounding. The foundation felt like I had nothing on at all and provided a flawless coverage with just a small amount of the product and the packaging was very impressive and I could tell this was a classy product. The price came to about 55 pounds, which is about standard if you want 5 star foundation, they told me it would last about a month, even if I used it every day. I could even go swimming or to the gym and the foundation would stay perfect. I have been using it for about a week now and will update my progress as things go along, so far this has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it, there was plenty of research on the website as well as doctor recommendations. The reason I had never heard of this product was because it started off as a medical post surgery foundation and has been improved for the commercial market, if you do a bit of research it has a long and promising history.I guess you can say a con would be the price but I feel I am worth it and don't want to waste my money when looks are so important in this day and age, although they shouldn't be. They were running out of stock as I got there so there must be very high demand, if you decide to make the leap, it will be of great benefit to you for a range of skin conditions.
Since I am new I can't post a Youtube link but you can find it by typing Camouflage make up before and after into youtube. |
