according to French government skincare treatments like laser, ultrasounds, infrared, radiofrequency are dangerous for health.

They prohibited them all over the country!
I'm freightened!

They suspect that fats burning will break body equilibrium.

This is very interesting. Is that the only reason they gave as to why they are dangerous for health? I would love to hear more about this!

I think it might be due to the fact that these procedures can dislodge the fat deposits in your body. If the body doesn't require fats to be dispersed, that would be considered as "imbalance" because you are forcing your body to use up fat when it doesn't need to

It seems to date from the end of April and concerns anti-cellulite treatments. Here's the link:
http://www.centrelasersorbonne.com/COMMUNIQUE-DE-PRESSE-concernant-L.html
The gist of it is in the section titled LA LIBERTE DE CHOIX DU PATIENT BAFOUEE
You can use Google translate if you can't read this.

Ok. So this is all about body procedures for anti-cellulite and not facial procedures, right?

Yes, it seems it's about the lipodissolve procedure that "melts" the fat away but does not remove it from the body like liposuction does.

“If lipolysis reduces fat cells, it does not destroy them, unlike liposuction, said his side France-Soir. The organization should indeed eliminate waste from the destruction of these cells. Several bodies are then sought as the kidneys and liver (…)». Therefore, the newspaper said, the High Authority of Health has identified “the” serious complications “identified 23 patients who used injections of hypo-osmolar solutions.”

The information is a bit garbled because of the problem of translation.

I am sure that the French aren't planning to ban IPL or BBL treatments. My derm has been using them for over 25 years and has never had a problem with fat loss. In fact his patients who have kept up the maintenance treatments look better now than they did 5 years ago. I will post more on IPL later.

It only concerns cellulite treatments and after reading the actual decree at http://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000023845272&dateTexte=&categorieLien=id
I saw no reference to ultrasounds, infrared, or radiofrequency. Although laser treatment through the skin without aspiration is included in the ban. It has to do with how fat is destroyed.

I'm actually French ...well French-Canadian that is.

That article, it seems to say they want to ban the procedures where they inject people with saline and chemicals to melt fat, but maybe also the lasers.

But it is mostly about how some women got injected with different things and had complications and ended up in the hospital...
