I know some people on here like it. I have a tube of this, but have not actually tried it out when I am outside in strong sunlight. I have only worn it in my day to day indoor activities, where I am never outside for long. I want to sit outside some and get a little color on my arms and legs only. I would like to apply this to my hands, face, neck, and chest and feel that it is safely protecting me. I have read some reviews saying that some people still burned and some thought the s/s made them burn quicker than if they were wearing nothing. Have any of you actually tested Devita out in strong sunlight? did get burned or red? I trust your opinions more. thanks |

I asked a question about whether or not the sunscreen is stable and consensus was that is since it is a physical sunscreen, not chemical. The reason why it would be unstable is because tehre are no preservatives in it so the inactive ingredients may not be optimal - however the physical sunscreen should still provide its appropriate protection.
Regardless, you should really avoid using the sun to tan even if you have sunscreen on. The fact that you're tanning means that the UV rays are getting past the sunscreen (which does happen with ALL sunscreens) which means you are also receiving sun damage. You should look into some fake tanning options instead. |

I have tried Devita in strong sunlight and it burnt my skin. I only use it when commuting between home and university. |
