Hi Sasha,
What kind of sunscreen are you using? We can use products to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation, but if you're not consistently using sunscreen, they will often return. |

I would not recommend using bleaching products at all because they ruin your skin first of all. They may even cause worse damage such as scarring or extremely sensitive skin. |

Have you tried a TCA peel? You need to stay out of the sun for 6 months after and use sunscreen. |

Thats not true. "bleaching" products that contain steroids, mercury, and high concentrations of hydroquinone will damage the skin.
However, "bleaching" products containing natural plant botanical extracts such as Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Arbutin Glycosides, Niacinamide, Sepiwhite, Rumex Extract, Lactic Acid, Lemon Peel Bioferment, and the list goes on.... And even the chemical hydroquinone in LOW concentrations at 2 to 4% used with Retin-A and a strong sunscreen, avoiding direct sunlight, used to even out face, marks, etc will not damage the skin but make its condition and integrity better than it was before because you are treating irregularities in pigmentation. |

You really should be wearing sun protection at all times especially if you're prone to hyperpigmentation. Nothing is going to help without sun protection. |

What works for my acne scars is:
I use Vital skin lightening cream at night on my pigmentation spots and good SPF sunscreen in day time( I use Clarins SPF 40 with Casaba melon) .
This works for me.
Hope it helps.

Careful when using this... dermalogica products sometimes contain irritating ingredients that may not be suitable for everyone |

A good product to even out marks, sun damage, and discoloration is the Phyto + gel from skinceuticals or the same affordable copy of it sold by Cosmetic Skin Solutions |
