Hi im young (18 years old) and i have no wrinkles but I always had pronounced nasolabial lines. It's not like older people when they starting getting wrinkles it's just pronounced and no one I know with my age has anything like it. I don't smoke or drink either, so its not from drugs. I have a bit of acne scars but i'm not sure if its correlated with these lines and im not too bothered about them. I started to notice them when i was 15ish but didn't bother with em until now when people make fun of me for them . Is there any natural treatment to get rid or reduce the appearance of them. When i stretch my skin outwards a bit i look alot younger...these lines are making me look old and sad. I am so fussy with my lines, I can't leave the house without looking at them and trying to fix them. I had this problem since people made fun of me a few weeks back. These lines are making me sad and hate myself.
I've just started looking up some DIY treatment and came across this site so im asking here no for some solutions. I also tried this today...
"Place olive oil in a jar so that you can dip in just the finger tips. Just use sufficient oil to enable you to do the massage Using either first, or second finger apply massage with finger tips along the entire length of the lines (in both directions). Make the massage very vigorous for best and fastest results To tighten skin in mouth area open mouth about 3/4' and pull lips firmly back against teeth. Do not concern yourself with eyelid stretching."
Please help me! |

Hi, I sympathise with you as I have had the problem since my teens as well. I have had only one deep one though so lopsided.
I have tried many things with not much success and have to say that for me, the only thing that improved them was facial accupuncture. It helped quite a lot but needs to be ongoing as once you stop, the fold gradually comes back.
I'm sure others may have better suggestions and I have just started Tanaka massage to see if this helps but that was just a few days ago.
Don't dispair as I'm sure at 18 you are beautiful and probably the only one who notices these lines. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

Hi,
I am a bit older than you, but also bothered by the lines. In fact, I was thinking seriously about fillers. What finally helped me the most (I'm too wimpy to get injected) was facial exercises. Specifically target the caninus muscle. You probably don't need to spend any real money on a program at this point, just do a search on "caninus exercise". I found a number of them that you can try that would probably work. I know a lot of people here that would say to only do the exercise in combination with a whole program, so you don't build a muscle imbalance, but you can always try it and see how it goes. There is actually a lot of information online, and here on this forum, if you know where to look.
Good luck! |

I am lopsided with one line, have been so since I was fifteen, and I do think I'm the only one that notices. The Lightstim seems to help plump it up a bit, and I really have to work each day to stay properly hydrated, that makes a huge difference. Dermarolling in theory should help, but it didn't for me.
I would love to hear more about the facial acupuncture.. |
