Here is what it looks like (phillips common brand) pictured on the link. I assume you want it for a primer of some other skin care use? You will find it with the laxatives as that is it's common internal use. Obviously you would not want the flavored ones.

Having a peek at this thread it seems it was banned in Australia.

Can you use hydrogen peroxide on the cat?
it is safe for humans at least.

white makeup? like waterproof professional makeup maybe?
Makeup forever is good and they sometimes give samples at the store.

no idea what you can put on a cat...maybe ask your vet to make sure ingredients are safe?

Thank you for the link on tear stain removal

We have searched through and tried so many of these type of products and none of them work.

They promises to remove the stain etc...with daily use.....well I can tell you they simply do not do the job...

I have even been to a animal eye specialist who had a similar product and he said it did not work either but he stocked it for cleaning around the eye. He said he has not come across any product worth while to date.

I was thinking is there a makeup with natural products that would cover white.

Just a suggestion, call whatever organization you have similar to our AKC (American Kennel Club) and see if you can find people who show either white dogs or cats, I am sure they would know all the tricks of the trade, even if it is only a temporary solution?

Sigh done that as well.

I actually got the milk of magnesia formula that I want to try from a site that has world champion show dogs and am a registered breeder with cats. I show my cats and the advice so far has had no rewards.

Milk of magnesia is not the only ingredient.

I e-mailed them directly and was told there is no substitute need to use exactly how its described.

Just thought I would ask if anyone one had any tips etc......its amazing the tips and advice you can get from forums like this.

The chemist is making me some on Monday..fingers crossed this will work.

Thank you for the responses so far ...

much appreciated

Well I tried, These things are hard with any white animal! I have had Rottweilers for years and they are very black on most of their body, so not an issue I faced.
Good luck with the brew your pharmacist is making! Smile

Milk of magnesia is often used for stomach problem and is also beneficial for treating acne. It contains magnesium and lubricates the digestive system and encourages proper bowel movement. Not much side effects of milk of magnesia have been reported. Those having sensitive skin may experience some amount of dryness as well as tightness in case they use it too much.

Magnesium is a naturally occurring mineral. Magnesium is important for many systems in the body especially the muscles and nerves. Magnesium hydroxide also reduces stomach acid, and increases water in the intestines which may induce defecation. Magnesium hydroxide is used as a laxative to relieve occasional constipation (irregularity) and as an antacid to relieve indigestion, sour stomach, and heartburn.
