I was just looking at the Blinc heated eyelash curler on EDS.
Does it work well? Is it worth getting?

I have a regular eyelash curler here and find it hard to use and also don't like squeezing my lashes.
The curler I have now is a Tweezerman one,so it is decent.

I just find it kind of hard to get all my eyelashes with it as they seem to grow in different directions and are quite long.
I don't use any eyelash growth things and this is just how my ;ashes normally are.
And also why I hate using eyelash curlers and almost never wear mascara (well maybe 2x a week usage now, thesedays).

Just curious if anyone uses this item:

Every once in a while I'll look at heated curlers again. I'm so tempted but the general reviews on these are not good. I'd love to hear reviews from anyone here also.

I've tried it but it just doesn't offer enough heat to give the curl I want =/

I haven't used a heated eyelash curlers, instead I heat my eyelash curler with the hairdryer until it feels safe enough to use. It works really well for me, provided you don't overheat the curler and burn your eye! By far the best eyelash curler are the Asian brands, Shu Uemura and Shiseido.

Thanks for your this Post! So Perfect~
I Love mascara, really Superb eyelash curlers and all things Lashes.

My new FAV is the Hot Lashes heated 2 pc lash curler. It has gotten great reviews at Amazon--Cult favorite Hot Lashes Makeup artist Kit..Absolute best..

They have a great sturdy 24K gold metal curler similiar to the Shu Uemura and Sheisdo one that comes with its own seperate pink small heater base that heats the pad in the curler.

Makes my eyes POP and keeps my lashes super curly, they have a website Hotlashes and I also read about them on Facebook~...HTH~

Major Rave, the cadillac of curlers..so worth the price. My friends and I love love love this one! Best by far,,
HTH~…Smile Abundant blessings to all..

I really like the "Panasonic (heated) Eyelash Curler".. Here are the online stores that carry it;

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=panasonic+heated+eyelash+curler&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=575399787950364711&sa=X&ei=bYjqTcyTKeXL0QHI7fi-AQ&ved=0CFcQ8wIwAg

Couple of hints if I may;

- Squeeze and hold for 20 or so seconds before applying to lashes so it's already heated

- My lashes are naturally black (minus the tips), so I don't use mascara, but when I use a lash conditioner before *curling*, it holds the curl the entire day or night. (If I just use the curler without the conditioner, my lashes straighten again within an hour or so.

- On the rare occasion I put on mascara (like on New Years Eve Laughing ), I curl 1st, then apply a tiny bit of mascara.. (which is all I need to NOT look like a drag queen..)

In a pinch, I've also used a hair dryer to heat a 'regular' curler which works great.. Directing the heat to the *outside* portion, helps to keep the *inside* metal part cooler.

I'll have to look and see which one I have.

I've used it a few times. And it works well. However, I'm not inclined to use it on a regular basis. Mostly, 'cause I'm just fearful of breakage... much like a curling iron and hair.

Let us know if you get one, and like it or not...

Hi Kassy,

What kind of lash conditioner are you using before you use the heated eyelash curler?

I, too, am interested in hearing more about heated eyelash curlers. Thanks, everyone!

Received the Blinc heated curler Friday.
So far I like it, it has a kind of "sticker" on it that changes colour when it is the right temp!
very useful festure.

Seems to work well for curling my lashes.
I like that you do not have to pinch your lashes to curl them- regular lash curlers for me never work well as my lashes do not grow in the same direction and most curlers I have to use a few times just to get all my lashes.

The blinc curler works well and makes it easier to make my lashes go where I want them to.

I had a similar one, not sure what brand it was. It had a light that changed colour when it was ready to use, and you just pressed it against your lashes after you applied mascara. I loved it, far better than eyelash curlers for me as it held the curl until I removed the mascara.
unfortunately I dropped it and it broke, but I will definately be buying another one.

I have the Sheisdo curler that is metal and I love it. If I need a little boost, I just warm it under my hair dryer for a few seconds, check the temp so I don't burn myself and then use it.

I do have a battery opperated heated curler and it did get warm but didn't seeem to clamp and curl my lashes very well. I tossed it so I can't tell you the brand.

What a great idea! That way, you can have a high quality curler and also have it "heated" up
