Hi everyone! Complete novice here so I do apologize in advance
Having recently noticed fine lines under one eye IVe gone on a spree of sorts to find the right thing to smooth out and restore the one socket. Unfortunately the highly revered caudalie premier cru eye cream seems to have made them permanent. Before using it i could stretch my skin and not see the wrinkles - now they are still there when i stretch
Ive been trying to figure out if i need something that firms or plumps? If a collagen/ regenerating product increases cell turnover wouldnt that just increase wrinkle depth as the skin grows faster around the wrinkle? Would a firming treatment make matters worse? So confused and wishing i could reverse the damage to the one eye socket! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance |

If these fine lines aren't too deep, using a vit c serum will help. You can also look into copper peptides. Both products have two very informative discussions already on the board if you can find them - let me know if you can't. They both stimulate collagen production, but that won't increase the wrinkle depth since the crevice of the wrinkle itself will also produce more collagen to fill up the "crack." If you have the money to spend, fillers and botox will be your best and most effective option available. HTH |

Hi OasisJc and thanks for your reply. I tried a few searches on the peptides but it only gets me to posts that suggest the use of the same. If youve got a link to the ones youre referring to id love that! Im not sure what fillers are and im not yet ready for botox. The cracks arent deep - certainly not as deep
As the crease under the eye which i can live with its the additional spiderweb of light wrinkles above the cheekbone under the eyeball that i want gone - or minimized if possible. |

If the wrinkles have worsened in such a short period of time its probably an issue with the hydration of your skin. I work at a spa and you would be amazed the results that some clients get with wrinkles from dehydration. Hyalauronic acid will help and EmirgenC products are a god send for hydrating skin. |
