Does cosmetic grade argan oil have a strong nutty smell to it?

No that is the culinary grade I believe. I sell cold-pressed, cosmetic grade argan, and it has no discernible smell at all. Very light and lovely oil.
I have heard some people that carry it say theirs has a light nutty smell, but that has not been my experience. Don't know why that would be. Supplier maybe.
Hope I'm allowed to say that as long as I don't give any details, not trying to push anything here! |

If you had tasted culinary argan oil it has a nutty flavour and is very nice in houmous. The cosmetic version does have a smell to it and some people think it is nutty. I don't. I have a copy of the lab tests for this oil, which I think has a smell, and it is pure organic argan oil. Some people however, don't smell it. Your oil may be the cosmetic one. Check the label or where you got it from. Even if it is culinary and a different grade, you can still apply it to skin and hair. |

I use 100% organic argan oil and have never notice a nutty smell. It's a lot richer and heavier in texture compare to some other oils like grapeseed and sweet almond. It's high in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, which makes it good for drier skin. Moroccan oil marketed for the hair has other ingredients added to it, so just be careful if you thought this was for your skin. |

If you like using argan oil, you should try arcs oil. It is easily absorbed into the skin and feels very light. I use mine at night. I prefer it to moringa, hemp, jojoba, rosehip, and other oils. I do like to eat the actual moringa vegetable or drumstick. I can even get my kids to eat it. |

Where are you getting your argan oil from? You can order from mountain rose herbs or new directions aromatics. Their oils are generally very high quality. |

Hi, I get my arcs oil from goingnatural.I would definately recommend it. Two active ingredients concenrated. I don't like to use chemicals, I feel that the skin loses it's young skin look. |
