Wondering if anyone knows if this is a lost cause or not. I placed an order with TIA for $100 and they've changed their website so I had to re-register. While doing so, I didn't put in my email addy right but then went back in to correct it. I never got an order confirmation, no biggie. Also never got a shipment notice email either.
Time went by, life got busy, then yesterday I decided to log in and check on my order. It was sent USPS with a tracking number, looked that up and says it was delivered last week.
I never got it, so I emailed TIA and got sent a reply saying to check with my local post office. Called them, they said TIA should have never sent it without requiring a signature and insuring it. He also said there's been a rash of stolen mail around here. (Doesn't surprise me, my house is up for sale here.)
Emailed TIA back and she said there is nothing they could do about it, not their problem since it says it was delievered, and offered me a 20% coupon code. Big whoop! Phoned my credit card company and they will dispute it and try to get me a refund.
Is it a lost cause though? Do you think I'll get my $100 back. This is a first for me. |
