I need the most stay put coverage I can find. Regular concealers just barely do anything. I have a lot of flat dark small moles on my face and body. With the use of the mineral concealers and foundations I use, at best I am able to make them look a little lighter and make my skin look a little more even. Although of course the makeup always fades or gets rubbed off, just like my under eye makeup. But now, I have to go on camera, high def. with lots of close ups and multiple angles. I feel very self conscious about my skin.
I'm tired of seeing concealers that are hyped up and advertised as strong enough to cover up tatoos, then I try them on my moles which are as dark as a tatoo, and it's still sheer. They still show through.
Has anyone tried the Jane Iredale's Disappear Camouflage Cream? That is another one advertised as camouflaging tatoos. Yet I tried the tester in the store and it didn't seem like it had that much coverage....
Is there anything out there? I would prefer a mineral one, but if the only ones that work are regular makeup, that will have to do. |

BYRG I was reading oyur post about to recommend the Jane iredale camoflauge, its got excellent coverage, its very thick (and dry) but once it warms up on your skin it will defiantely cover moles, you will need to use a fine concealer brush to get the best effect with this product. I defiantely recommend, I used it to cover a broken blood vessel smack in the middle of my eyes for the longest time  |

Me again  I just read about Jane Iredale Disappear. It sounds very nice. JI has an excellent reputation.
I wonder if EDS gets samples of this  |

Thanks. I will look into those. I will probably just buy the Jane Iredale one and try it out, work with it more. Using the tester in the store, I couldn't really tell. I already use the JI circle delete, and it is just ok. It seems to disappear easily and even though I'm a warm/neutral (#1) even the darker of the 2 colors is too light. Then the #2 one is much too pink for me. Not a good match. Is the Jane Iredale product really under the current free gifts?
I will take a look at the dermablend too. Maybe I can go try a tester of it in the store. |

| oops I think I was wrong, looks like only the circle delete, I have also tried dermablend, same consistency as the JI, you probably get a bit more in terms of quantity from dermablend, I remember it came in a jar |

| I have used Dermablend (concealer & setting powder) in the summer to cover a few stray freckles. The stuff works awesome and is a regular staple in my cosmetic line-up. I have used it for many years and can attest to the coverage ability of this product. I doubt you will find a better concealer for full coverage. It also looks very natural and stays put all day when applied with the setting powder ( I use sheer) |

Hi fairlady, did u try the Dermablend concealer on dark circes? So it completely covers your freckles or it just lightens them? Is it cakey and stay put for long? Sorry for all the questions but I'm in search of a good undereye concealer that doesn't cake up on me as well as providing great coverage. Thanks =) |

Yes it covers dark circles, blemishes, freckles, etc. extremely well. Not cakey at all - very creamy texture. It comes in a little pot like container and I just dip my concealer brush in and apply it lightly with the brush, blending out the edges. Looks very natural. I have very light skin and the color I use blends very well and is seemly unnoticeable with my skin coloring. I always use this to cover a blemish, it is far better than regular concealer. It also lasts forever, I only need to re-purchase like once every two years or so.
It might be a little heavy for the under eye area - I do not use it there but Dermablend sells an under eye concealer that you might want to try - probably a little lighter texture. |

| Hi all. I've used Dermablend on and off for many years, but always keep coming back to it. For me, it's coverage is simply the best there is out there. What I've been using under my eyes, on top of eyecream, is Dermablend's Smooth Indulgence Foundation--it comes in a tube. It's not as dry as the regular jar of Dermablend and it covers most every mark on my face very well. If a mark does show through, I just top it with a bit of cream from the small jar and that definitely does the trick. I have also tried their concealer. It's a thinner product, comes in a tube, and I really didn't think it worked well to camouflage facial marks, or under eye circles. Well that's my opinion, and trust me I've tried sooooooooooooooo many products to cover up my broken capillaries and under eye circles. Dermablend does the trick! I've also tried Cover Blend but didn't think it covered as well. HTH! |

Another vote for the Dermablend. I use it to cover 2 ankle tattoos when I am gettin' gussied up for an event. 1 is all black, the other has alot of color and this covers them quite well without looking masked...

| I quite like Cargo's "OneBase". It's a concealer and foundation in one. I find that the -01 colour is a great match for me and I can use it as a spot concealer. Does a very good job of covering and blending. And the best, it seems to last a long time. |

| Thanks girls So it seems Dermablend is good in covering my racoon eyes. hhm It seems quite a few of u mentioned that the concealer is not as good in coverage and the foundation is better. Just wondering if I can just use it alone under my eyes? Is it heavy for combo skin? |

I don't think it feels heavy. I do apply it lightly with a concealer brush and feather the edges out to blend, this helps to keep from over applying. |

Dermablend is the industry standard. It may be considered heavy BUT it can be applied as lightly as well and you can still achieve the coverage you need.  |

Yes! I learned this the hard way. I ordered the Vichy Dermablend DermaSmooth foundation off ebay for around $50 and had to wait 3 weeks to get it. The first thing when I got the box was look up the ingredients of the Smooth Indulgence and they have the exact same ingredients. Could have gone down to Ulta and saved a bunch of time and money.
Specially got irked because I wrote and asked Dermablend if they were the same thing and I got this very vague and useless answer:

Sundew, so Vichy Dermablend is the same as Dermablend? Cuz I saw both products and they look somewhat different. I wonder why they have different companies. Yeh their answers are kinda vague and I don't think they even answer your question!! 
Oh well, so did u get a chance to try on the Vichy foundation? So how was it? |
