I just ordered the PurMineral Makeup package on The Shopping Channel. It's a great deal for today. It looks like a good product and my Bare Minerals seemed too shiny on me lately.
I will be getting the pan makeup with brush, Blush or universal powder? lips with brush, eyebrow/lip liner/eyeliner in one pencil and a few other items. Hope it's a good product!! Any feedbaack on PurMinerals? |

The powder feels very light on the skin and I really liked it. Unfortunately none of the shades worked for me. ![Sad](images/smiles/sad.gif) |

Pur Minerals usually have really good show stoppers.
I really like their face wash. I have sensitive skin and their face wash doesn't bother my skin. My make up just melts away. I've also used their triple impact mascara - It's pretty good it doesn't flake or smudge. I also bought their 5 pack lip gloss. Don't buy it, it tastes like crap. |

I like it but its almost too much coverage for me...it's a very matte (sp?)finish...not at all sheer like BareMinerals. Even so, there are days I do prefer it over BE's product. You will probably be real happy with it. |

I really like the "foundation" great coverage for what I need. I also have used the primer, and liked that also.

The 4-in-1 was the first MMU I ever used--I loved it and the convenience as well as the great coverage and flawless finish. That is, until I developed an allergy to bismuth and could no longer use it. I would still use it if I could!

The Pur Minerals website has a much greater selection of colours compared to TSC...

I tried PurMinerals for a little over a week and I found that everything I touched with my face (cell phone, sunglasses etc.) would have a film of slimy powder on it and if I touch my face it would come off on my hands, so it doesn't make it through the day. Has anyone else had this problem? I think I'm giving up on it, even though I really like the bronzer and blush the starting kit comes with. ![Sad](images/smiles/sad.gif) |

Yes, the same thing happens with me! It looks great going on, but then shortly it looks like I have no makeup on... my frustration with this keeps me from ordering some of these kits just to try other items she sells.
I've often thought of calling in and asking why this happens - should I put something else or different underneath? or what, but it's not likely they ever let someone who is not OVER THE MOON thrilled with the product on air... ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who found that! I bought my starter kit at a beauty store and the woman there helped me pick my shade and told me she loves it and uses it herself. She even likes it better than BE (which I didn't try because she said it's not worth it). I guess I'll go back to my more expensive Jane Iredale, because it's basically waterproof (I've cried in it and it doesn't run!) What do you use now? |

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who had issues with this makeup. Like it was meantioned before, it looked great going on but then five minutes later, it looked like I had no makeup on! I've never used Jane Iredale so maybe I'll try that. |

I was looking for something a little cheaper than JI because it is so expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. Now I feel much better about spending so much on skincare! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I have used Pur Minerals for years - until I tried the liquid mineral makeup from ninproskincare.com which I prefer - mainly for its lasting properties. While I like the wearability of Pur Minerals eye shadows - I am not enthralled with their pigments - they require a lot of blending. |

I might keep my kit just for the brush though, has anyone else tried the flat topped brush in the PurMinerals kit? I think it looks cool and is a nice size for foundation. That said, people seem to rave about Everyday Minerals' brush, so I'm torn about ordering that or keeping the PurMinerals brush. Either way, both are cheaper than most of those other brushes like the Jane Iredale "Handi" |

Has anyone tried that new version of the Pur 4 in 1 foundation, the one with "skincare actives"? I use the original 4 in 1, on and off, not every day.
http://www.purminerals.com/Foundations
The ingredients list for the new one is much lengthier and appears to have no titanium dioxide, whereas the original is 8% TD. I wonder if this affects SPF? Interesting to note there is no SPF listed for the new, as opposed to SPF 15 for the old... maybe it's just a typo/oversight?
The new formula has got all kinds of stuff, inc retinol, ferulic acid, a peptide, although who knows in what quantities. And the packaging appears nicer (I've never been all that keen on the original Pur packaging). Might give this new one a try when I finish up my current stock, which could be a while
From the Pur website:
