Does anyone have a good recipe or advice on hair oil to balance out oily hair? I've always had oil issues; skin & hair. I live in the Pacific Northwest but was in New England most of the last year - since I got back noticed that my hair is an oil slick in the AM (next day), but this wasn't the case in New Eng.
Anyone have a clue? I use Aveda or other sulfate free shampoos too.
Thanks! |

I love argan oil for the hair, makes it nice and shiny. |

Hi Crunchy Granola, I don't have a recipe but I wondered if your diet included lots of sugary foods as it's been my experience that the more sweets I eat and sugary coffees (my * spam alert * ) the oilier my skin and hair seem to be.
Also, maybe it's worth trying your final rinse using cider vinegar (apply to scalp, leave for a few minutes then rinse). Hope this helps,

Oops, also forgot to say that it could be the change in water as my hair is much nicer when I go to my relatives in Ireland than it is in London(where I live) |
