I just ordered my first LED device and I am very anxious for it to arrive so I can begin using it for my acne and scarring. However, when I see my aethetician she sometimes uses high frequency on my skin since I have moderate/severe acne and I really like the results. My question is.. would it be safe for me to use both of these regularly? I plan on using my LED 5 times a week and I see my aethetician every 1.5-2 weeks. She recomended even purchasing one for at home use. Does anyone have any experience using both of these devices with one another? Would this irritate my skin? Any help is appreciated! Thanks |

Yes! HF first followed by LED. |

Thanks for the help! I think I'm going to see how LED works on it's own and probably order a high frequency in a few weeks to try it as well. Do you notice better results when using them together? |

I'm not a person who has ever noticed immediate visible results from anything! But I do think that gadgets, used diligently long term, can be useful in holding back the hands of time. I don't think LED and HF work synergistically but they are both supposed to be useful for stimulating the growth of collagen. |

I agree 100%! That's why I love using my STOP - I think it will have long term benefits.
Some time ago, a shop assistant referred to my sister as my mother. There is only 18 months between us. It's not that I look young, it's just that my sister, who has never taken care of her skin beyond washing with soap, looks so much older than she should.
Also, I was told yesterday that I have really nice skin (it was not a compliment that I looked young, but that my skin looks fresh - this was a couple of hours after a Tua Tr'end followed by a STOP session). For someone who spent her whole life in the sun, sailing, diving, swimming, I think that comment was a testiment to what gadgets and good topicals can do.
I don't look a lot younger than I am (47, most people guess around late 30's to early 40's), but I figure I should actually be looking a lot older given all my sun damage and adult acne issues. |

Do you use them back to back? I was considering HF in the morning before I put on make-up and LED at night before bed. |

This is what I do - not enough time to do everything at night. |

I ended up purchasing the Sirius Aurora. After lots of research and digging around this forum, I decided it was the most bang for my buck. So far I like it very much. I've been religiously using rd light followed by blue light nearly everyday and I have deffinitely noticed some improovement. I'm hoping with time it will give me the results I'm hoping for. I have not purchased a HF device yet though, probably will try that out soon though. |

That's good. I own both a LED device and a HF device and was using the HF before LED because the serum is still on my skin when they are used in that order.
Good to hear I'm not doing something that might give me an adverse reaction. |
