I just ordered my Personal Microderm and got it in the mail today. I used it and it went just fine. My skin is thick and I can handle a lot. I used the green moderate disks instead of the blue sensitive ones. I guess if I don't feel any pain, I figure its not doing much but I have to remember to go slow and stop trying to rush everything.
I'm wondering if anyone can give me some honest reviews. I'm learning that a lot of these youtube "gurus" have been sponsored by this company and sometimes I wonder if the reviews are honest. If you have one of these, can you tell me what your personal experiences have been using this device. Also, can you even compare it to a real microdermabrasion in spa?
Thank you! |

I own a diamond microdermabrasion machine (the professional type one) that was purchased from ebay for $120.00AUD. My personal opinion is that professional machines use suction and abrasion, if you take away the suction of course the results wont be as good because your only using the abrasion, the two combined really mae for a synergistic affect. I would think that using one of these devices for upkeep is a better idea, like getting professional microdermabrasion once a month and using the at home device once a week. However if it works for you then stick with it because some results are better than none. |

You are right, some results are better than none I wish I would have gotten the professional one myself, I figured they would cost a fortune. Anyway, I will keep giving mine a shot. It did make my skin super soft and I think the topicals I use will penetrate better so thats a plus. I'm wondering if I should do my lactic acid treatments too but not sure how long I should wait after the microderm... It think it could penetrate better too so I should reduce the minutes I leave that on. Soooo many options, so little skin LOL |

Always stay positive with these at home devices, I have seen the price of those personal microderm devices, luckily they dont cost an arm and a leg plus sounds like your getting results which is always a good thing.
I used to get a combination of microdermabrasion and peel at the salon, there was no wait time, they did the microdermabrasion then applied a moisturising mask, gave me a hand massage, took the mask off and applied the peel which was 30% glycolic. |

ok thank you, I'll check it out. One more question. Do you think lactic or glycolic is better for sun spots? |

Glycolic is better for sun spots where as lactic is a better peel for sensitive skin types. |
