I am really shy to post a "pick a potion for me" threads....

But please "pick a potion for me" Embarassed

I am 37. I used to have acne (chronic but not cystic) and now am left with the remnants in the form of some whiteheads on my chin and enlarged/congested pores.

I currently peel with TCA at home 2-3 times a year (12.5%, layered 3 times). I have very good success with those

In between I alternate between retin A and a lactic acid serum.

I also use copper peptides in the form of Skin Biololgy's super CP serum

I use a jojoba/castor/olive/almond to seal it all in.

In the AM I use vitamin C serum (homemade) under a very simple hyaluronic acid serum from Dianna Yvonne. I put sunscreen on top of that.

I had been getting really great results with all of that. That's been my routine for 2 years now, with the CP's being in there for 4 years. I had originally gotten amazing results from the CP's but recently, it seems that not much seems to be working anymore...

I've been trying to decipher the research but I really can't tell the difference between natural/ bio=tech/ and copper peptides.

I have recently read a few opinions from people I respect their ant-aging perspective (ie middle-ageless blog) who question the safety of over exfoliation. I certainly am not pleased with my over-all skin condition but am very hesitant to give up the retin-a as it appears to be the only thing that there is real proof of in this entire industry. Besides, my skin shows no signs of irritation...

I've been thinking of grabbing some actives from skinactives and adding them to a base cream or just buying their anti-aging cream and using that istead of the CP serum.

I am open to any suggestions and would appreciate them tremendously.
