| I cleansed my face and OMG when I looked in the mirror my forehead and nose were shiny like abnormally shiny they still are now almost 30 mins later, I had been noticing it a bit lately but this shocked me my nose seemed to really stick out then I realised why,is this some kind of retin a side effect the skin looks better but shiny |

| Skin can go shiny if too dry, think how some of the Hollywood foreheads look if they overdo the Botox (stops sweat as well as muscle activity). or do you mean greasy shiny? |

| Its not greasy shiny and my skin doesn't feel dry, actually it maybe feels a little tight but not in an uncomfortable way, it feels smooth but looks very shiny |

| I get that shiny look when I exfoliate. I am never sure if that is from over-exfoliation and/or just a side effect of stripping all the oils off the skin. |

| I dont know why this happens but it sometimes occurs with me. I think it has something to do with the skin being stripped of its natural oils. |

| Seems better now had me a bit worried at first because sometimes you see pics of people whose skin looks really shiny and it looks a bit fake, like plastic, not a good look |

I know... it's not a good look, it's not quite oily but it still shiny like when a man goes bald  |

| I got that shiny when I use cleansing foam or gel. But if I use cleansing milk or lotion, it will not happen. |
