Hi..
Would love thoughts on this product, its got 14% glycolic?
It is recommended as either a 28 day intensive treatment used every night, or
2-3 times a week as an ongoing treatment. I have been looking at it for quite a while and seen lots of before and afters on Australia's TVSN (shopping channel) these were very impressive.
I just don't know if it will be a bit too harsh on my skin.
The ingredients look good?
any thoughts would be appreciated...thanks!

This looks like a good product Bermie I must admit that I've been tempted to buy it too - the only thing stopping me is I have recently added new products to my regime and I dont want to overdo it.
I have used Alpha-h products in the past and found them to be superb. My skin always liked everything that I tried from them. |

This sounds like a great product especially with the highly effective amount of Glycolic it contains. I would suggest going the every 2-3 night route only because you dont want to much physical flaking but you still want results. I used Paula Begouns weekly treatment serum that contains 10% glycolic and it was recommended to be used once a week so thats just an example that it probably shouldn't be used that often. You could also start slowly and then increase it's use, you just dont want to over do it and end up with dry irritated skin. This of course could all be based on your past sin care experience have you used AHA based products before and how has your skin tolerated them? |

I say use the product as instructed..it might be aggressive..but could give you amazing results. I found that true with Obaji NuDerm. It made my skin peel and so red at first..but it changed my skin for the better. I think the agressive treatment had everything to do with it.
You can always back off if it is too much. |

I think this is also true for allot of Retin-A users so could also be an option but probably work out if your able to do the down time before proceeding with the more aggressive treatment. |

thanks for the replies!! I have ordered it because they are a two for the price of one special. I think I think I will stop using the Osmosis for a while and maybe even give my beloved CP's a break for a few months! I don't want to be a peeling mess with christmas fuctions coming up though I may just see how my skin reactions to it a couple of times a week. |

I think that is really the best idea, will you update with your results? |

Received this on Fri 28th and used it the first night!!
It's a lovely textured serum, yellowish in colour and went on quite smoothly. It says a stinging sensation is not unusual with this product but I was surprised to have no stinging or tingling. It felt nice and it says to wait a few mins then apply any other serum or moisturiser over it if you want to. I am going to use it alternate nights. So as follows..
PM..cleanse, Alpha H 14% Glygolic serum, moisturiser and maybe NCN Oils if I feel abit dry and then on alternate nights..
cleanse,NCN DNA serum, wait 20mins, NCN LED serum, wait 20mins, LED treatment, copper peptides, retin A, Moisteriser and oil if needed.
Phew, that sounds a lot, but doesn't feel it!!
will post back if a little while. |

I have been using this now for 9 days, every second night. Its going ok, no stinging or anything adverser reactions so far. I am feeling dry though, so definitely use a cream moisturiser afterwards. Still to early to see any results but will continue with it and see what happens. |

Good luck with it Bermie
I've been tempted to buy this product but it says not suitable for sensitive skin types lol But my skin picks and chooses when it will be sensitive - it's rather intermittent so I'm not sure if I should risk it...
The good thing with TVSN though is you can always return the product if you're not happy wth it.
I did always find I got fast results with Alpha-H products - but I have found that since I am now 40 !!! eeeek! that it takes longer to notice results - must be an aging thing!
5 years ago I would have fairly instant results with products, now not so much! ![Bad Grin](images/smiles/badgrin.gif) |

I have been using this now for about 3 weeks (every second night). Can't say I am terribly impressed. It's a nice texture and goes on ok, but it is very sticky on the skin and doesn't feel great.
No stinging or irratation, hasn't done anything bad to my skin but just sort of 'blah"?? I am tempted to drop it but then that's such a waste!! I will try to stick with it and give it more time. There is no way you could apply this before make up, but then I suppose thats why its a night serum!
I don't think I will be repurchasing unless something dramatic happens in the next month!! |

Perhaps try the 10% weekly treatment from Paula's Choice? It's not sticky at all and feels very watery. Try not to use AHAs too often or else you will get flakes no matter what brand you use. |

I might try that in the future, I do like PB products.
This one is just so sticky! and horrible peelies I sent it back today so at least I will get a refund.
Just wondering if I really need to use a glycolic at all!! |
