I was just restocking on Burnout sunscreen, when I saw Amazon recommend a "Thinksport Livestrong" sunscreen that looks very similar but is a bit cheaper. It's DEFINITELY more widely available, which helps quite a bit. Just wondering if any EDSers have tried out this formulation -- looks like it gets good EWG ratings and has similar-ish ingredients. Thanks! |

Hey,
I'm pretty sure this is the same as thinkbaby/thinksport sunscreen, it's just marketing- it's to benefit charity. "thinkbaby Safe Sunscreen benefiting LIVESTRONG". I have tried thinkbaby sunscreen (exactly the same thing as thinksport, just different names) and it was pretty awful.
I actually have most of the tube left, it's that unpleasant to use and it's pretty tough for a sunscreen to be *that* unpleasant, that I can't even bear to put it on my hands. Very white and extremely sticky. However: I did order it more than a year ago so there is a possibility it's been reformulated and I see that the positive reviews are pretty recent. Also it's gotten cheaper. |

Innteresting! thanks for the input. Good to know about the charity aspect, but I'm such a sunscreen nerd it didn't even occur to me -- just always on the lookout for an even more perfect formulation, haha. Think I'm sticking with the Burnout you got me hooked on for now, but if I ever come across a tester in a store I'll see how this hold up and update! |

I'm still all about the burnout too . I've tried other sunscreens since but nothing has come close. Their lip balms (also with 18.6% zinc oxide) are the best as well. |
