I got the Facial-Flex Ultra as a gift from a good friend, but would like to know if anybody has any positive experience with this device.
I had tried already some other face exercise programs, but never followed through long enough because they were so time consuming and somewhat difficult to do.
This one is apparently easy to do and exercises all the facial muscles.
all one has to do, is occasionally change the small rubber bands that come with the Facial-Flex device, to increase the tension and therefore strengthen the facial muscles more.
if anybody has any experience with this device, please let me know. |

I got my facial flex in the mail yesterday, have heard it is quite good, looking forward to using it. Let me know your results? |

There's a whole thread about it somewhere on EDS. I don't think its correct that it exercises all the muscles, but it does do the majority of the lower face (i.e. lips, cheeks and the lower lids I seem to recall being mentioned). Some have said that they found it increases the NL's, and I must say when I first started out with it I found that was my experience too. I contacted the owner about it, and she tried to tell me to buy a mask thing she had developed to prevent that from happening and I didn't and kind of discarded it after that because I found out the mask was from that point forward being despatched with all the orders from that point forward and it didn't make sense to me that I'd have to buy what should have been included in the first place. Also I found the mouth corners got very red and splotchy when I used it and sore. |

Mine came with a cream. I want to use it but not to sure about using it at the risk of getting nasal folds m |

My goodness, there is an increase in nasal folds?? I am not sure if I now want to use this device. Does anybody else have a similar experience with that?
on the other hand, I would also appreciate some suggestions regarding other facial exercise programs or DEVICES, that are effective, and do not have any such side effects. |

Sonja you might like to look into the Neck Line Slimmer as well as a microcurrent device. |

Just hold up the NLs lightly with fingers when using it - that's what I did (haven't used it for ages but I never had that NL problem when I did).
And experiment with using different parts of the face to move it if you are having probs (for instance, engage the cheeks more, rather than just the mouth. Experiment. |

I actually considered that, I'm going to use it anyway as it did cost me $$$ after all but thought it would just mean watching very closely. I think it's just like with any other facial exercise if you dont use your finger or a cream to stop the creases moving then they will get deeper. I however had not thought of just holding the NL up. Thanks for the advice. Also how are you going with yours any results? |

I tried the facial flex few years ago and hated it.. it made the face around lips bulky and cheeks appearded sunken... Also I don't like the way it works the muscles as the muscles are worked inwards & downwards towards the lips and I strongely believe that if the face needs to be lifted, the muscles should be worked outwards & upwards ... In case you try it, please be careful not to over do it... |

That's also a very good point, we apply our creams upwards so as to not bring the skin downwards shouldn't it be the same with exercise? If you want a lift it should be going upwards not downwards. I would like to see some more reviews. Very good point. |

Just to add: I've heard similar things to what TheresaMary said she's heard. Over the years, a significant number of people have complained that the device either made there NL folds worse or made their lower face particularly around the mouth bulky. Of course, some people do love it and have great results! Just wanted to chime in so that you can be appropriately cautious |
