Hi there,
Haven't been on the forum for too long and need you lovely girls expert help please.
I am using both Red and Amber Pro-Lights and have completed 12 full treatments with each one. I am hoping someone can reply who has used it for longer than this and advise what specific results they are getting? I am in the UK, and the cost for both was around £550. Due to the cost, I need to believe that if I persevere I will get worthwhile results and have not thrown money away on very minor improvements. I think my skin is brighter and maybe a bit plumper, but I have rosacea (on decolletage) which must be due to me being a total stress-bucket as I have never been a drinker or had acne. I have tiny red veins too, and had hoped to notice an improvement but dont see it.
Anyone with similar problems who has stuck with it and been impressed? Thanks. |

I personally haven't been able to use my led (the lightstim) which combines both the types of light you asked about with red without my skin getting to dry. Other girls on eds have had great results though, continue using it and wait for some of the other girls to chime in, I'm sure you will be impressed with what you hear |

Hi Freedom: What treatment protocol are you doing? How much time is given to each area of the face and how many times per week are you using the devices? |

Hi Keliu, I am using it every other night, I got samples of Rita's new skincare range and have been using these as instructed. I use the amber on one side of my face/chest and the red on the other to cut treatment time. I am sure I spend at least an hour on my face alone. |

That sounds fine - there was some controversery because a while ago Rita was only recommended to use the device for 90secs per spot twice a week - which is a very short amount of time compared to the recommendations for other devices.
I tend to regard my LED in much the same manner as a toothbrush! I think youŕe far better off using it than not - just dont expect instant miricales. |

this is interesting about 90 seconds. and i think it takes time to "feel" what is right and it can fluctuate in terms of time on a spot and how frequently to use treatment. i'm finding my chin and cheeks are more sensitive, so less time is better.
I have a LightStim Anti-Wrinkle, TheLedMan infrared/yellow/red, and have a yellow LED ordered. 3's a charm! I believe these devices are very good, and each one of mine will be slightly different.
anyway, when i started i was doing up to 4 minutes a spot. now i realize this is simply too long to hold in one spot on a sensitive area. moving it a little over the area and lessening the time has made my skin happier in several places.
also, i'm fully treating my face with serum and cream before using the light. i find my skin feels better and looks better doing it this way.
and i agree Keliu--i'm a relatively new user, but thinking of it like a toothbrush is very good analogy!
the daily aging assults don't stop coming, it requires ongoing treatment. just like teeth and gums. |
