If so, what were you trying to treat and what were your results? |

I haven't tried this yet (I have tried many other things though) but plan to in the future. I have a friend who tried this and not only did she tell me it worked wonders for firming but it was obvious there was a huge difference in her appearance. |

Her face did look firmer but it didnt look to do much fot he underlying muscles, her skin looked tighter, also she had quite large pores that faded. I didnt see an improvement in her skin tone though. |

Oops I forgot to mention that if you are after an improvement in skin tone then you should really look into getting a LED device. |

My daughter had this done to treat hyperpigmentation and was disappointed in the results. The hyperpigmentation patches are slightly lighter but they are also larger.
It seems to me that hyperpigmentation can be difficult to treat with lasers - it very much depends on your skin type. So be sure to do lots of research and make sure that your clinician is fully qualified and experienced. |

All I know is a woman I know had fraxel done..we had lunch ...like a year ago. I had not seen her until a few weeks ago .and she looked so much younger. I don't know if it took time to take..or what..but I'd say she looked 10 years younger.
It has me thinking that maybe fraxel takes time to show the total improvment.
I don't know this woman real well..but I'm very tempted to email her and just ask her if it is the fraxel alone that has improved her skin so much. |

I would love to know how your friend liked her results. I hear so many bad stories but yet I am so tempted to try it. |

I had this done to treat melasma. I was a bit disappointed as well. I think the continued use of Obagi Clear has made the biggest difference, though I still have a brownish patch on each cheek and above one eyebrow. Most people say they don't see any brown patches, but I do.
If you are getting it done for melasma/hyperpigmentation expect to look a bit crusty for about a week. And your face will swell like nobody's business.
I didn't think it was painful, but my face felt hot like a sunburn for a few hours afterward. |

I wonder if you had an obaji blue peel done now, if that would take away the rest of the brown patches?
One of the nurses at my skincare clinic looked like a new person when I saw her recenty. Her weathered wrinkled freckled skin was smooth...and she looked 15 years younger and just pretty.
she did obaji nuderm for 12 weeks..then had the obaji blue peel. I read on the Obaji website that one gets better results when they use the nuderm first..which is mostly clear and retin a. |

Elvisshops, are you just using the Clear or have you used the entire Nu Derm regimen? Just from my own personal experience with hyperpigmentation, the Clear on its own did not take care of it. Just wanted to mention that in case you had not used all the products in a routine for 12-18 weeks. |

I started with the entire system and used it for many months. But now I use only the Clear. |
