I've been reading reviews on the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation and people swear that it rocks for photos - they say even if it doesnt look spectacular in the flesh the photos are amazing.
Have a look at the reviews on MakeupAlley and Sephora
It sounds so good I may just buy some - although I have no idea if it's sold in Australia (probably not as I recall it was cleared from the only department store that sold it here a few years ago). I love Make Up For Ever products but I think Australians just werent ready for it I'll probably have to hunt for it online but then I have to try to get the colour selection right |

Yeah Ive been wanting to try MUFE HD too but its so hard to find in Aus. Also they have so many colours so it would be hard to colour match. If you find someone do let me know LOL
I've read that for flash photography its best to choose foundation with little or no spf (white cast face). So far Chanel (vitalumiere aqua) ,for me has been working well, in terms of colour and coverage (but it has spf). Sometimes you find a nice foundation and the colour is not right. |

Hi Dionie I think I may need to resort to ebay! lol I'm pretty pale and think I'll need either 110 or 115 in the HD or maybe even both and mix - but I'll just get 1 colour initially in case the coverage isn't for me - my skin tone is a mix of pink and yellow tones so it's hard to get a perfect match for me and I usually need to buy 2 and blend. I got my mother's porcelain pink Celtic colouring but with a hint of my dad's German olive tones! lol |

Make Up For Ever products are really good, but stay away from the HD powder. It's great for being behind a VIDEO camera, but definitely not flash photography as too much of the powder can result in splotches on the face. You can try it if you want, but you have to apply very very little so that it doesn't show up on the camera |

Yes, but watch out. The MUFE HD FOUNDATION is absolutely brilliant, but I was just about to post a WARNING about MUFE HD POWDER and how it doesn't photograph well AT ALL! Under flash photography it comes out ALL WHITE! Like freakishly white.
I use it, but I duck cameras as if my life depended on it. |

Yeah eBay sounds like the wAy to go. I'm forever mixing foundations too. I have fair olive skin so most things are either too dark or too fair and pink. But I've heard good about the MUFE liquid foundation. I'm not so much a powder girl anymore. I find powders make me look older LOL |

Thanks for the tip on the HD Powder will definitely avoid! lol I dont set with powders as I too find they make me look older! And most just irritate my skin. The only powder I didnt mind was the Prescriptives Magic whatever it was - but even then my skin was temperamental with it! hahaha... |

MUFE Hd is fantastic and photographs beautifully giving the appearance of flawless skin...alternatively if you would prefer a more cost effective option Temptu HD foundation is equally as good but $25.00 for a one oz bottle in comparison to MUFE which is $40.00 for one oz.
I have personally used both and they are equal in quality |

Some mua would suggest putting those beauty fluid before that so that your skin would be more hydrated and dewy, also easiler to set your make up and make them last longer. |
