I think they're only out in the UK. He's a dermatologist who has produced his own range of products. They've just gone on sale at Boots and have almost all sold out. I'm interested in the blemished skin range. Has anyone tried? |

Never heard of him, but I've just done a quick Google and he seems to also be a bit of a skincare consultant to various newspapers, etc. What he writes makes quite a lot of sense, so I'd be interested in giving his line a try. Fab prices, too!
There are only a couple of his products that aren't sold out at the moment on the Boots website. I think I'll wait until all the furore has died down first. |

I actually phoned Boots and was told that they are expecting new stock towards the end of this week (Thurs/Fri). I'm interested in the face wash and moisturisers for blemished skin, but have just ordered a trial pack of the Der,alogica Medibac line, so I'll see how that goes. Dr Lowe products look interesting though, post back if you try anything.

I was eyeballing these in boots the other day but ended up being drawn to the free gift offer on Clarins (got the UV plus and the spf eyecream plus a bag of goodies)! I am interested in these products they have an article about them in the current Boots magazine but I don't think I will try them in the near future.
Let us know if you decide to take the plunge! |

I have seem a lot of editorial in UK mags on this range, in particular the anti ageing cream called Supercharged Day Cream. I bought a jar yesterday and have only used it twice but unfortunately it has made my skin very sore. It's not particularly red but feels like I have been out in strong winds all day. I think one more application will tip my skin over the edge so I will have to stop using. Unfortunately all anti-ageing creams seem to make me react. I would caution against anyone using this if your skin is in anyway reactive. |

Yes, I'll be sure to post a review if I give it a try.
BTW the Clarins offer sounds good. I'll be needing some more UV40 soon.
Poppy - that sounds nasty. If I were you, I'd take the product back to Boots and tell them what happened. They should give you a refund because of the reaction. Boots are usually pretty good and helpful like that. |

The products in the blemished skin range are all now back in stock on the boots website. I'm tempted, but have a Dermalogica trial pack on the way so will try that out first. |

Can't rave enough about Dr. Nick Lowe products. The Hydrating Foaming Cleanser is fantastic and even removes mascara. Leaves my face feeling so clean and bright. It contains plant enzyme exfoliators which slough away dead skin - I use it morning and night. I have been using the Brightening Radiance Cream for about a month and some dark pigmentation patches on my face have all but disappeared. I use this at night only and as it also contains moisturisers, there is need for any other creams. In the morning I use the Super Charged SP15 Day Cream - amazing stuff! Wonderful consistency and it has an allergen free fragrance. This is truly the best day cream I have ever used and I have tried loads! (Really classy heavy frosted jar as well) My skin has never looked so radiant or felt so soft. I am prone to outbreaks on my chin but since using these products - I haven't had any. The next one I want to try is the Cell Renew Dermabrasion Peel which should be used once a week and would also like to try the Age Correct Eye Serum. Dr Nick Lowe products are far superior to many of the high end products I have tried and they are totally affordable. |

Thanks for your review Amber23. I was waiting for his range to be stocked in Boots, but haven't bought any of the range yet. I'm really impressed that the prices are so reasonable compared to other brands. I'm definitely going to give in and order some of his products. |

amber - Thanks for your review. I live in Thailand and although we have Boots here, they don't stock Dr. Nick Lowe's products. I just checked them out on Boots online store and the products are really affordable. My mother-in-law is coming over to visit from the UK soon, so I'm gonna ask her to get some products for me. I'll report back once I've tried them. |

Some of them are on special offer at the moment so I bought 3. I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to try them, but will give my verdict when I do.
I bought the Line Eraser, the Super-Charged Day Cream and the Anti-aging Eye Serum. |

I've been using the anti blemish range for approximately 1 week. I've seen a big improvement. I have previously used skin care products such as clinique, liz earle, GM collins & germaine de capuccini. Unfortunately, they all made my skin worse and they tended to be quite expensive. Dr Lowe's products are reasonably priced and appear to be working - so far!! |

So, the only product of his that I've tried so far is the eye cream which is 'ok'. Meaning it's nothing spectacular. It's hydrating, nice consistancy, a good price but it hasn't blown me away and i'm not sure i'd repurchase. There is really nothing to dislike about it but i'd like a bit more from an eye cream. |

I recently finished off the last of the 3 products I bought - Line Eraser, Super-Charged Day Cream and Anti-aging Eye Serum.
Having used them for several months, I honestly didn't notice any benefit from them. The day cream isn't bad - moisturises adequately and provides a good base for make-up. Other than that, though, I wasn't impressed and won't be buying any of them again. |

I have used many creams in the past, most very expensive and I have to say that Dr Nick Lowes range is fantastic. I have been using the Night Cream and Supercharged SPF 15 cream for the past 4months and I must say they are fantastic. I have got rid of all my blemishes on my chin which I have had for the past 3 years and it has also given me a smooth complexion. I have been asked which cream I have been using so many times that I cant remember due to the change in my complexion. Just to note every year in the sun I get blotches on my face where I tan as my skin dries up, however for the first time ever I got none, due to the fact I was using the Supercharge day cream.
It really is a great product. I have used Elizabeth Arden creams and serums, Clarins, Chanel, Clinque, No7 Beauty Serum, creme de le mere and Avon face creams and for my skin the DR Nick Lowe creams are the best and also not that expensive which is an added bonus. |

Had never heard of him before, went to his site and looked over the products. Can anyone post an actual ingredient list from any products they've been using? Cheers! |

I have been using Dr Nick Lowe creams for months now and they are truly amazing! My skin has never looked so incredible and they are so inexpensive compared to other doctor brands. He seems to know a lot about the science behind them too which is what I like about him. The spf day cream and night cream are really great. I am totally converted! |

I have used Dr Nick Lowe anti-acne skin range for almost a year now and it is by far the best anti-acne cream that I have used, and I have tried a lot of anti-acne products! My acne has improved massively. The spot gel is awesome - zaps the spot away without leaving a mark! I'd definitely recommend this range to anyone. |

I bought the SPF 15 eye cream and have been using it for two or three months. I am really disappointed with it, it has seperated into two components, a cream and a horrible greasy substance. I have tried shaking both together really hard but this has little effect. I tried putting on just the cream but some of the grease inevitably got on my skin and its just awful! I am sending the tube back to the factory with a letter of complain :Z |

A bit of guy input here - 50 years old, fortunate with good skin, though oily with a history of spots and sensitivity; these days crows feet are the issue so tried SPF15 Eye Cream. Beware, this isn't going to suit everybody; as Emily says, the cream has separated but when applied it makes my eyes sticky and puffy, which of course worsens the lines, and even abiding the instructions to carefully avoid getting it in the eyes, causes stinging and watering. I might be the unlucky one in a million but the eye area is very sensitive and bold claims for what an eye cream can do might be a warning that the formula is too aggressive for some. |

So far i've only tried the Cell Renew Dermabrasion Peel but it's pretty good.
When i use it consistently once a week, my skin does look better and more healthy. i'm just not great at being consistent with it. I'm also going off mechanical exfoliants to some degree as i've heard they can tear your skin. Certainly, this product is quite abrasive.
I bought it originally to speed up skin cell renewal to get rid of post-acne scarring and i think it has helped.
It's pretty reasonably priced for a microdermabrasion and I would buy this product again if I needed to. Also, he does seem to be quite a respected doctor here in the UK, i've read a few of his articles in magazines and newspapers and he really does seem to know his stuff, talks common sense and is not condesending at all. Which, i have to say, does influence me. |

I Bought Dr Nick Lowe's Starter Kit from boots and the spot gel.
The spot gel is the best one i have come across so far. After using turmeric, toothpaste and spot gels to get rid of a pimple it turned into an open sore, bleeding and punctured. The spot gel started working after the first application and after 3 continuous applications my skin had healed and sealed. The only spot system so far that has worked. I still have an ugly blemish as a reminder but the pimple is gone.
From the starter kit the Foaming face wash has turned out to be pretty good. Does not dry the skin and the skin looks clearer after every wash.
Not sure about the day and night creams, still trying to determine whether they are better than the others or just the same.
I will definitely buy the spot gel and the face wash again. |

Call me distrustful but I'm slightly suspicious of all these new members solitary reviews on Nick Lowe's products. Is this some sort of public relations exercise? |
