I tried Retin A micro and it made my skin come out with itchy bumps. I have some samples of renova from my derm but unlike the retinA micro, the renova is not covered by my medical plan. Does anyone have recs for where I can get Renova for a good price? I would have prescription so can get it from a pharmacy anywhere |

Thanks for the reply oasisjc! I looked at both sites and they don't seem to sell renova - only retin a or retin-a micro ![Sad](images/smiles/sad.gif) |

Hi, I got mine recently from Medsmex. It's a generic Renova cream called Retacnyl, they do 0.025 and 0.05.
The actual product price is pretty reasonable but the shipping's quite high so best to stock up on a few in one go. |

OOOh!! THANK YOU THANK YOU verity000!! Will check this out as the price is really good and I would never have known that retacnyl was generic Renova. |

Isn't Retin-A cream very similar to Renova? |

oasisjc - Renova has tretinoin in it like Retin A, but is in a more emollient base to stem off some of the irritation people get from Retin A.
Personally, I like using Retin A Micro - it encapsulates the tretinoin for a slow release and that really helps get rid of irritation, too. |

Oh I see, thanks for the clarification. Do you know the manufacturer for your MicrO? |
